In a narrow alley in the heart of the Old Harbour of Chania, you will find the ONAR VERDE, (means Green Dream) an old house that harmoniously combines the Venetian and Ottoman architecture. The ONAR VERDE has been renovated with care and attention to detail and has been lovingly restored to its former glory. The modern design and facilities are combined with the romance of the era and the spirit of the picturesque old town of Chania. The architectural mix of wood and stone of the old building, the twinkling lights, the warm colors and the modern furnishings create an effect of romantic elegance, warmth and an intimate atmosphere that both relaxes and refreshes. ONAR VERDE loft has 2 comfortable bedrooms with fine linen, a stylish living room, a spacious bathroom with washing machine and fresh towels and a fully equipped kitchen. It is fully Air conditioned and has an excellent wifi connection to stay in touch with the world. In the terrace upstairs you can enjoy your morning coffee or your wine while watching the Old city from above. Wander the picturesque alleys of the old town within walking distance of the old port and shops, bars and restaurants. The nearest beach, Nea Chora, is 15 minutes away, with a small fishing port, a broad sandy beach, and many good fish restaurants. ONAR VERDE doesn't offer a parking spot, but in a walking distance of 5 minutes there is a free of charge municipal parking area (Plateia Talos) where our guests can park their car.

Loft with amazing view on the beach - Chania

The loft is located right on Chrissi Akti Public Beach (Golden Beach), one of the best beaches close to Chania (4km, 8min), accessible also by bus. It offers an amazing view to the sea. The beach is literally in front of the building. There is free parking on the street right outside. The apartment is supplemented with a huge private veranda, where you can spend most of your time when not at the beach, and a separate room for laundry and storage. It is suitable for families with kids/babies.

Peace and seclusion!

Ten minutes drive from Kissamos this is a single self contained apartment with double bedroom, bedroom with bunk beds, shower room and kitchen/living area. If you are looking for somewhere totally away from the turmoil of every day life, this is the place for you. The only other people here are Sue and I (and our Labrador, Darcy) However, Kissamos is close by and has everything you will need for shopping or eating out and also we are close to the popular beaches of Falasarna and Balos.

Lovely, carefully renovated apartment at a nice quiet place near the sea. The house is located 700 m from the beach and 3 km from Chania city center. There is a bus station just 200m away (2 min walking distance) and you can catch a bus to Chania or any beach in west Crete like Falasarna, Elafonisi, Balos, Platanias etc.

I spent 5 nights here with my mother and 10 year old daughter, and I have not one negative comment…the house is better than pictures! The beautiful gardens give it a feel like being in a movie, and there is beautiful beach literally a few steps outside the house. There is lots of great restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. We rented a car, but if you plan to just relax and stay close by, you don’t need one. There is also a bus that you jump on to take you to Old Chania. This place is perfect for families with young and older children. And it’s so comfortable you will not want to leave. Natalia, is so kind and sweet, and is near by should you need anything.

Got to say if I could mark this place more than five stars I would. Absolute gem we found and will be going back. Konstantina is the best, her advice, help and such a lovely sweet person, so genuine and helpful with anything from doctors to beaches, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was fabulous too, large and spacious, fluffy towels, nice quality bedding, complimentary toiletries, if you want a change of bedding, or the room swept you just had to request and it will be done with no hesitation. The pool is in a grass area with sun beds and chairs and with a small menu for drinks, very relaxing area. Small walk to restaurants and beach with supermarket at the end of the road. We did go out of season but still enough to do. The restaurants that Konstantina recommended were all top class, and the beach also that Konstantina recommended, taking a cab which was 11 euros each way was so stunning. Had the best time. The house is located in a privileged place in the center of Chania. It is very quiet and bright, just as shown in the photos. Everything was super clean and tidy and full of careful details. Tassos welcomed us upon arrival and showed us the entire house as well as gave us recommendations of places to visit and where to eat. Lovely welcoming fresh fruit, bread, cheese, mermelade and wine were waiting for us. Staying at Tassos was an unforgettable experience. Could not recommend this place strongly enough.

The villa is very quiet and somewhat secluded in the olive mountains with a fantastic view. The distance to the sea is about 8 km. A house that can't be made more perfect. So lovingly furnished and actually really everything you need to spend a great vacation. We stayed in the house for 10 days. It has been cleaned several times. The house was almost perfect for us. We were able to work and had peace and if we wanted to shop something, a few kilometers away was a wonderful little place with great restaurants and shopping. Two personal tips: we booked a golf smiling class near Chania through Airbnb. This was really a highlight during our vacation. You should also check out the Green oasis Argiroupolis Springs. We then ate at the very top of the restaurant in the tavern Kastro. A family restaurant run by a wonderful Anna as a host.

The villa is beautifully located in a dead end on the mountain of the small village of Armenoi. Everything is well maintained, clean and atmospheric. All sanitary functions are very great in shape, the kitchen is great incl. Dishwasher equipped and the sleeping areas maintained. The grill worked impeccably and coal and lighter were ready. The communication with Elina has been great, very helpful and attentive. A car is indispensable if you want to go to the sea ( 8 min. Travel time to Kalyves ). I would come back anytime and therefore also recommend the best conscience.

Alexandra’s place finished off our holiday perfectly. It was better than the photos, with everything you needed. Cristina was great, very friendly and helpful, happy to welcome her to Australia if she comes for a holiday. There are quite a few restaurants around and it is only a short drive into Chania Old town (depending on traffic). The location was great as you could book tours or hire a boat. From this location we went to Balos, winery, olive oil tour and got to know the area. Would definitely stay again or recommend friends to stay. Thanks for making Crete so memorable.

Yulia apt is in a beautiful location overlooking the old port of Chania. It was like a home to us. It has so many things you might need and a fully equiped wonderful kitchen. the bathroom is outside the room but since nobody else uses the building it feels private. The street gets noisy at night with youthful happiness. Yulia was very helpful with all our needs. we'll return when we can!

The apartment is great, you have everything you need. the bathroom is not luxurious but it's your own and the rest is perfect. Frank is super nice and helpful and it's the same with the village. From the bakery to the supermarket to the restaurant, everyone was nice and wanted us to show everything. There are a lot of cats in the area which was a plus for us. you have a great view, can park your car and walk to the village in about 10 minutes. I would fully recommend the flat as long as you are not allergic to cats.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Dimitris place. Very easy communication and self check in. The apartment is a lovely space, well set out and private space overlooking the marina. Just a short walk to the nearest beach, restaurants and bars. Hania Old Town is just a short stoll down the sea front. Denitris had bikes there also we could use if required. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending the apartment and Chania to all. Many thanks Dimitris 😎👌

Our stay on Crete couldn't have been more perfect... Evienía is an angel making you feel like home at the first moment. Her house is magical and surprises you with both sunrises and sunsets aswell as views of the sea and beautiful mountains. Listen to Evienías recommendations! You will enjoy a stay with no tourists near to you and a company of many cats and dogs!
