It is 250 meters to the nearest bus stop where 4A and 11 often go into town. Free street parking.

Welcome to a nice, quiet area close to everything. The forest, Tivoli, local shops and grocery stores are all nearby. The light rail stops 5 min. from here. It will quickly take you downtown. You can also walk to get there. The apartment is in the basement with a private entrance, bathroom and (small) kitchen. Our laundry room is in the basement, but we will coordinate in advance if we need to use it (only relevant for longer stays). Fast Wifi and easy access to the highway. Free parking.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

A studio apartment (45 m2) with kitchenette and private bathroom on the 1st floor in an older house in scenic surroundings. 10 km to Aarhus C, 3 km to E45 and 2.5 km to a supermarket. The apartment overlooks Aarhus Ådal and Årslev Engsø. Bus to the center at the door and nice bike and walking paths around the lakes and into the city. There is a carport for a van. Here is peace and quiet!
