Our stay at The Surfshack was absolutely perfect for our family of 4 traveling for spring break. We spent every morning and every evening on the lanai watching the whales and the waves. Kasey was extremely attentive to our needs and had the Surfshack equipped with everything we needed (local goodies, beach stuff, plenty of towels, and much more). The festive island decor was such a treat and really set the vibe of our week. We loved Hideaways Beach, walking to Hotel 1 for a nice dinner, and grabbing pizzas from the local spot across the parking lot. We would love to return to The Surfshack again sometime. It's a gem!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Clark’s place! He was a pleasure to deal with - always responsive, very professional, and attentive to details. The location is perfect both if you want to have a relaxed vacation and walk everywhere - the beach, Hanalei shops and restaurants - and if you want to explore Kauai’s north shore. The house is immersed in lush vegetation, and was very comfortable. We also met the owners, lovely people who live nearby and were prompt to come by to solve an issue we had with the WiFi. All in all, a great experience! We highly recommend the place, and hope to be back soon!

We had a truly wonderful stay! This home was the perfect home base for our trip. The kitchen was fantastic and well-stocked, which was ideal since we cooked most of our meals. We loved spending time on the balcony, where we were treated to stunning views of waterfalls and rainbows—truly magical. The layout of the home was perfect for two couples, with two primary bedrooms on separate levels, each with its own en suite bathroom. It gave everyone plenty of privacy and made the space feel especially comfortable and well thought out. The home itself has a clean, calming, almost zen vibe, and it’s beautifully decorated. We also really appreciated the hosts’ generosity with local recommendations, which helped us make the most of our time in the area. Highly recommend—would absolutely stay here again!

It’s a clean and spacious for 4 adults, and a nice location- walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances for what we need. Also plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, inflatable tubes. My daughter loved sleeping with the sound of beach waves. Susanne responded to my questions quickly and kindly.

The property is fantastic. It is a quiet neighborhood of houses and condos super close to Poipu beach. There was plenty of nearby parking. A/C blows cold when we needed a break from the sun and heat. Amenities as described. The photos were accurate. The balcony is a pleasant place to have morning coffee and listen to the local birds.. We enjoyed the spacious layout of the property for my wife and I, and our three teenagers. Nathan was great as our host. We had a small issue getting the TV to work and Nathan was quick to respond and direct us how to use the cable tv app. (User error on our part). Nathan provided some good local recommendations. We had a great time! Thank you!!

The home was as advertised. Plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable. The lania was great for coffee in the morning. The location was great. The community pool, hot tub, kid's wading pool and gym were right across the street but we didn't hear noise from the pool area. It was about a ten minute walk to a shopping mall with restaurants, bakery, Starbucks and other stores. The ocean was a quick drive or about a 20 minute walk away. We had two small problems that the property manager corrected the same day we notified him.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Poipu condo, which came fully equipped with everything we needed, including beach gear. The space was both spacious and beautifully furnished. Unlike many places that claim to accommodate more guests, this one truly delivers on comfort. Having two bedrooms with their own bathrooms was fantastic, and our youngest loved the loft space. I was initially worried it might get too hot up there, but the breeze was just as promised and kept it comfortable. We spent most of our time on the lanai, taking in the stunning views. The location was wonderfully quiet, and we didn’t miss the sound of chickens at all. Our host, Marsha, was incredibly responsive and proactive, and we appreciated the folder she provided with recommendations for activities and dining options in Kauai. We would definitely love to rent this place again when we return to the island, and we hope it will be available for a longer stay next time!
