Beachfront vacation rentals in Koloa

We wanted a space in the middle of Kauai with nearby beach, restaurants, and only 90 minute drive as far as you can go to either the Tunnels Beach or Polihale. We mostly traveled to the less touristy beaches during the day and spent the evenings swinging on the porch swings looking at the beach between the AirBNB and the Hyatt each evening. Great space for 2 with separate bedroom and living room for couples that get up at 2 different times and a washer dryer so we could bring clean clothes home. Great kitchen with all the upgraded supplies. 2 walkable coffee shops and restaurants less than a mile away. We stayed at the Four Seasons Maui the week before and although we really, really enjoyed the understated luxury, we liked Kauai and this space better. Thanks for a great week!

Great condo, quiet location yet close to beaches and restaurants. Very comfortable, everything you need for relaxing time. Charles was very responsive to any of our questions. I highly recommend this property for a great vacation spot. We will definitely be back. Kauai is an amazing place to visit, you won't want to leave.

We loved our stay at Sonia’s place!The beachfront location is the best on Kauai and the unit feels very upgraded with nice, comfortable furnishings and amenities. We especially enjoyed the high top patio table to enjoy views of the surf, turtles & sunsets everyday. Sonia was easy to communicate with and made every effort to ensure we had a very pleasant stay. We appreciated that the unit’s kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessities and much more! We aim to visit Kiahuna/ Kauai every year and unit 198 is the best of the best! Mahalo!

This was our first visit to Kauai and this spot was perfect! It was great for me and my husband and our 13 year old twins. We had plenty of space, the kitchen and washer/dryer were great amenities. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning and the view was lovely. Location great for all activities we engaged in. Enas was a responsive host and the car was an added convenience! We would certainly stay again! Thank you!

Kevin was a great host. I have never felt more comfortable at an Airbnb than at Kevin’s home. He gave incredible recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing. He went out of his way to accommodate us on our trip and is a very kind and respectful person. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Kauai. This place is a gem. Location, amenities, and the atmosphere are incredible. Great place to stay in Poipu Beach!

Could not have picked a better location for beach access. It never felt too crowded and was easy to come to and from. Some of the best swimming and snorkeling experience we’ve ever had. The grounds were also so beautiful and peaceful. The lanai was perfect for reading and eating. This was also a great base camp for branching out and exploring.

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb in Kauai! The views were breathtaking—we couldn’t get enough of watching the ocean right from the property. The space was spotless and felt super comfortable, and Brandi was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. But the real magic? Sleeping with the windows open and hearing the waves crash all night long. It was like having a real-life sound machine, only better. So peaceful and relaxing—we’ve never slept so well! Would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

When we return to Kauai, our trip will be based around when we can book C5, as we felt everything was amazing and perfect for our liking. Thank you Greg!!

This condo was the PERFECT location, especially with kiddos. The huge lawn was so fun to play on, we could walk to two beaches including Poipu and the coffee shop across the street was soooo yummy, we went to the pool at the Athletic Club everyday which was so fun and convenient and it was great that both the pool and beach had towel rentals (free). We even got snorkel rentals right at the beach. The condo was equipped with an umbrella, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs which made for a really comfortable time.

Great spot to stay. Commutation was clear and we got excellent advice once we arrived on the local things to try out. It’s advertised as shared but you get all the privacy of having your own place. They have starwars chopsticks which light up like light sabers: totally lit up our dinners.

Cash’s place was great with an amazing view and easy walk to see a great sunset

Craig’s condo was the perfect place! Located in Princeville close to many restaurants, beaches, and walking trails. The condo offered great light and was spacious. Although it was just two of us (and our pup), the condo could comfortably accommodate a family or group. We would definitely recommend for a vacation in the Princeville/Hanalei area.

Great condo in a great resort! Waking up to the view in the backyard is all I have to say. Absolutely gorgeous. In addition to that, the condo itself was wonderful. Extremely spacious. The host was great, as well. I would definitely stay here again! Just a great experience overall.

Evans was an amazing host! He gave us plenty of local recommendations, and even lent us some of his own belongings to use for the beach! Very gracious and hospitable!

If you want to have a true Hawaiian experience; you should stay at this place. Absolutely amazing views, the sea just outside your house. The apartment is well equipped and so wonderful decorated. At arrival there were some snacks and candy on the table. 😃 We enjoyed the XL balcony in the morning, enjoying the view with a cup of coffee ( coffee and tea is also provided ). And we liked it so much that there are no windows ( except the doors to the terrace) it’s all shades so you experience the ocean breeze in the house. Shower is great. Parking in front of the building. Shops and restaurants at walking distance. We are definitely visit this place again. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and secluded location right on the water. The views are unmatched. The cottage is removed from the crowds around Hanalei which is great for privacy but will be a decent drive to most restaurants and stores. The cottage maximizes the views with large windows facing the water. Since there is not A/C in the cottage (as indicated in the listing), we'd recommend to future guests to try and arrive in the afternoon to get the fans going and open the windows so that you can sleep at a comfortable temperature. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

This was a terrific stay. The Hibiscus House is beautiful with lots of art work Very well designed and maintained.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! It was a wonderfully comfortable place to be in the mornings, when we decided to lounge around or nap during the day, and in the evenings after coming back from the beach or an adventure. The view of the ocean is actually much nicer than the pictures can capture. The (adjustable) pass-through breeze was perfect and kept the temperature ideal the whole time. The place was just the right size for us (two adults and a toddler) and the surrounding grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Also, I'm eternally grateful for the bottle of sunscreen and aloe left in the closet so I replaced them with new ones to pay it forward. We will very likely want to stay here again when we return! Thank you!

We loved that this airbnb is located in Kiahuna Plantation. It could easily carry the provided chairs and umbrella for just a few minutes walk to Kiahuna Beach. There is super limited public parking for this beach, so we were so thankful we only had to walk. It was a surfing beach for beginner lessons (and experienced surfers) and choppy snorkeling during our May visit. Beautiful ocean to look out at. So many choices of coffee shops/carts, restaurants and supermarkets near by. The athletic club access was also easy and the club was not crowded at all during the week. Laundry facilities just next door, kitchen had everything we needed to eat in too. The A/C in the main living area was so appreciated during the day, the evenings cooled off so the temperature in the non-a/c bedroom was good. Outrigger did a great job providing towel service and cleaning service. The view out the lanai of the large tree and grassy area was nice during the day, and good for star gazing at night.

A wonderful stay for our young family! Stay was well kept and as pictured. We loved the walk ability to beautiful beaches and access to the Athletic Club. The area is unmatched and the A/C wonderful. Bonus: the kid amenities. It doesn’t go unnoticed that Shaun and his wife are parents and took the time to think of the little things. Little fish is a definite bonus across the street! We hope to be back. As hotel owners ourselves we would highly recommend this stay.

My family throughly enjoyed staying at Clelia’s condo. It was such a great space for young kids (3 & 5 yrs old) with access to the lawn right outside the patio. The beach was walkable but not too close that we were not worried about water safety. There were tons of water toys on the patio and sand toys in the hall closet. The space itself was ideal. My kids slept on the pull out couch in the living room and my husband and I had the master bedroom. We cooked in the kitchen, ate in the dining space, ate on the patio, and felt we had all the supplies that we needed to cook which was wonderful. The location of the resort is ideal. This is our third visit to Kauai and our second time in Poipu. We will not stay anywhere else in the future. The plantation property is absolutely stunning with access to the beach. The access to the resort club and pool is great amenity. The walkability to some great restaurants is so nice! Ultimately, a beautiful space that we hope to return to!

Nice Condo w/ the most BEAUTIFUL View Ever! Appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella & cooler! Liked having the front wooden door you could open & let the air come thru the unit by opening the slider to the ocean air. Overall just a great place to stay in southern Kauai. A/C so nice to have & kept us plenty cool! Felt safe as well! You cannot bet the view & the sound of the ocean waves -- seeing a few sea turtles below was a bonus!
