Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which the former stable has been transformed into an attractive B&B. Specially decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and YouTube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The B&B is separate and closed off from the main building. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room.

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

The historic town of Dokkum is 7 km away, and the crossing to the Wadden Islands is also easily accessible from here, such as Terschelling, Ameland, and Schiermonnikoog. Beautiful Lauwersoog National Park is also recommended. Feel at home in our chalet de Hooglander on a small-scale campsite in Westergeest.

The Bergumermeer is only two kilometers away, where you can enjoy a beautiful view over the waters of Friesland at the Blauwhoek recreation area. Lots of privacy in a natural environment.

Characteristic is the 'smûke' couliss landscape with thousands of kilometers of elzensingels, dykswâlen (wooden walls) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. The biodiversity is great here. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the idyllic Wadden Islands.

Hidden in the Leeuwarden district of Huizum, lies the former kindergarten "Boartlik Begjin". At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. A nice base to go into the city, shop or visit one of the museums. And also to discover the rest of Friesland. The room is also suitable as a home office (WiFi available).

Welcome in this comfortable chalet, with much privacy, in our large woody garden. With a bedbox, pelletstove, large and nice porch with meadow view. Including made bed, towels, kitchen linen, coffee, tea, Wifi. Options for a fee and upon availability: bicycle rental, slow car charging, use of the shepherds hut sauna or Swedish hot tub (Størvatt without bubbles, not available in July-August).
