This is the old house rental [Kokoro]. This is a private house that can be rented out to one group per day, where you can feel the abundant nature of Shiga Prefecture close at hand and enjoy rural life. It is a nice, old, calm space that can accommodate up to 10 people. Please relax with your family and friends. It is about 1 hour by car from downtown Kyoto, and if you come by train, it is about 20 minutes by bus or 10 minutes by taxi from Adogawa Station on the JR Kosai Line. It is popular with overseas guests, families, and groups. We also rent out a BBQ set (equipment) for a fee, so please feel free to ask. There is free parking available on the property. Parking is available for up to 3 regular-sized vehicles. For large vehicles, it may be difficult to accommodate three, so please inquire in advance. If you consult with us in advance, we can also rent out space for a fee. We also offer free bicycle rentals. There are also plenty of outdoor facilities in the surrounding area, so please use it as a base for your activities. Please also use it as a base while cycling around Lake Biwa. 100years Kyoto Pure Japanese garden 翠川

Please stay at a Kyomachi house with a large Japanese garden. This private guest house is a great place to relax and have a wonderful time. There are Japanese-style rooms with 8, 6, and 4.5 tatami mats, and a 8 tatami mat cocoon room. There are 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms. Two kitchens with all the cooking utensils for you to enjoy cooking with your family. The Japanese garden is large and has beautiful moss. There is also a shrine to Benzaiten in the garden, which will bless you with financial luck. Kyoto Suiyokawa Minsu is located in one of Kyoto's most traditional and historic districts, Nishi-Yasaka. A traditional Japanese Kyomachi-ya house that is over 100 years old, the garden has maintained its original appearance for over 100 years, and has a shrine and torii gate that are rare in a private garden, dedicated to Benzaiten (God of Wealth). The 250-square-meter exquisite Japanese garden changes with the four seasons of Kyoto's beautiful scenery. There is a kimono workshop in the Suiokawa Minsu with a professional kimono teacher, miya, where you can wear a formal kimono to go out and return it after you come back.

We have started renting bicycles and tandem bicycles (2-seaters). How about cycling together as a couple? It is also close to Sakadokoro Fushimi, Uji no Heidain, Inari Taisha Shrine, Yasaka no Iwashimizu Yasaka Shrine, 30 minutes to Nara, and is perfect for sightseeing in southern Kyoto. Although you can come by public transportation, it is more convenient to come by car as it is quite a rural area. The hot spring is 5 minutes by car. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
