Vacation rentals with beach access in Ko Lak

Kenneth is an amzing host. Generous and accommodating. The place is as amazing as it is in the pictures. Literally a 30 second walk to a very secluded and quiet beach. Absolutely stunning. There are many restaurants nearby. You can walk to them on the beach. anywhere from 5-20 minutes by walk. There's also a small supermarket and 7-11 about 10-min drive away. Lotus is about 30 minutes away along the main highway. The wifi speed was fine 80 % of the time. Around 50 upload and download. The router is a bit far so to use the internet in the bedrooms, we used our own wifi extender, which helped. There are many stray dogs around, but are all harmless. We fed them lots as they looked very very malnourished and hungry. There's also a cat that walks around the villa. Beautiful colours. She hung out with us every day and slept on the couch outside as we worked on the patio. She loves drinking milk. This is our favourite place by far in Thailand and we will return.

Our third visit to this amazing place was nothing short of spectacular. Each stay just gets better & better! The location is unbeatable, and it’s incredibly welcoming for our pet, which is a huge plus. The host is fantastic, always communicating promptly and ensuring everything is perfect - thanks a bunch for the delicious dragon fruit! The accommodations are pristine, beautifully decorated, and super comfortable, making it feel like our second home. We can’t wait for our next getaway here. Wir haben einen Monat in dieser Wohnung verbracht und waren mit unserer Wahl sehr glücklich. Die Wohnung mit Balkon und Dachterrasse ist genauso, wie sie auf den Fotos aussieht. Die Kommunikation mit Kenneth war super. Er hat uns einen Fahrer für die Anreise vom Flughafen in Bangkok vermittelt, der uns sehr zuverlässig zum Surin Beach und wieder zurück gebracht hat. Das Bett war mir etwas zu hart und kaum habe ich es gesagt, habe ich schon einen Topper bekommen. Die Anlage wird super gepflegt. Wir haben bei Kenneth einen Saleng (ein Roller mit Beiwagen) gemietet, mit dem wir in das etwa 10 Minuten entfernte Dorf fahren konnten. Dort gibt es viele Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Massagen zur Auswahl. Es gibt aber auch zwei Restaurants ganz in der Nähe am Strand. Wir werden wieder kommen.

This is a gorgeous property literally on the beach with a beautiful swimming pool (shared with two other apartments). The property is located in a very small fishing village with a 10 minute ride to the nearest town which has a 7-Eleven and other mini-markets. Excellent for those who seek private in a quiet and relatively secluded place. Ying was a very helpful and responsive host. We had a great experience!

Un appartement super propre, très bien équipé et avec une super vue. La plage à quelques mètres et la tranquillité. Un beau jardin et une piscine agréable. L’appartement est très grand. Un véhicule semble indispensable pour passer un excellent séjour dans la région. Hôte hyper réactif ce qui est appréciable.

Perfect stay! The spacious villa just steps from our private beach exceeded expectations. With a clean pool and peaceful location away from tourist crowds, it was amazing. While the furnishings aren't the newest, the villa provided outstanding comfort. The layout was perfect for our family - our children could stay independently upstairs while we had our private space on the ground floor - what more could you ask for? :-) The highlight was Miss BB, wonderful staff member. She took care of everything - cleaning, cooking, laundry, advice, and even gave us gifts - we'll miss her dearly! This was the perfect escape from busy Thailand. We experienced authentic fishing village life, rode tuk-tuks, enjoyed local food, markets and festivals, explored nearby national parks, and loved the local hospitality. Special thanks to Nicki for arranging perfect accommodation, airport transfers, and car rental. A fantastic experience for our whole family.

Jolis chambre - Pas de machine a laver sur place si long séjours -Télé en frais supplémentaires

We have enjoyed 3 weeks in Yvonne's house Naam Thai 3. Together with children and grandchildren, we really enjoyed the house with a wonderful pool that was used extensively. (The pool attendant has been an asset and should be commended) Yvonne has been perfect as a landlord and reachable when needed, but on site Phia service takes care of everything with praise. The house has everything you need and is in a private environment, dogs are of course also in Huay Yang but just close the gate and they are kept outside. The first grandchildren said when they saw the house and the pool: it was worth the 14 hour trip. Huay yang is a cozy fishing village with everything you need, from food to massages and beaches, always smiling people. We hope to come back . Peter

Huis lag heerlijk direct aan een rustig strand. Zo vanuit de tuin op het strand. Op het terras/tuin was een klein bubbelbad wat fijn is met kleine kinderen. Huis was voorzien van allerlei kookgerei etc. Wel handig als je zelf wilt koken. Dit ook veel gedaan. Restaurants waren op een paar na allemaal gesloten. Geen seizoen. En dat wat open was gaf niet de Thaise kwaliteit die wij gewend zijn. Als vrouw van het gezin een goeie Thaise kok is zijn we natuurlijk ook verwend. Is wel een bestemming waar het fijn is als je voorzien bent van een auto. De brommer is leuk maar voor bezoek aan restaurants/markten/wat groter plaats voor Makro/Lotus is een auto gewenst. Je hebt ook dan de mogelijkheid om de omgeving wat te gaan verkennen wat de moeite waard is als je buiten de toeristische paden wil gaan. Er is zoveel meer als Bangkok etc. Al met al voor een “falang “ inwoner van Thailand met zijn familie was dit weer een gedeelte van Thailand wat we verkend hebben wat goed kon vanuit dit strandhuis

This is a really beautiful location and area. The neighbourhood is very quiet and friendly. The host is very kind and very easy to communicate with. The only thing we didn’t like about the property was the fact that it is right opposite the security guard box and so there is a security personnel always in front of property. Good for safety but not so much for privacy. However this was only a small issue for us and it would not stop us from returning at all. Many thanks to host for sharing your lovely home with us and hope to return.

Vi boede 5 dage i det vidunderlige strandhus. Der er bjergtagende smukt og roligt. Huset er helt nyt og meget smagfuldt indrettet. Siri var meget hjælpsom og svarede hurtigt hver gang. Siri kunne give mange gode anbefalinger. Vi har boet i mange boliger gennem Airbnb - dette er den bedst vært nogensinde.

We loved staying at Caroline’s place in Nishaville. It is a unique little community, with great amenities and a perfect location. We loved spending days moving back and forth between the beach and the pool, working out at the fitness center, and exploring local restaurants on our saleng (3 wheeled motorcycle). The air conditioning in the main area kept us cool during the day, and the bedroom air conditioning kept us cool and well rested at night. Caroline was very responsive to questions and helped us get settled, and the staff was great as well. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We had an amazing stay for the two months that we were there! The villa was beautiful and spacious. Our kids had plenty of space to play. It was next to the pool so we enjoyed a daily swim which was fantastic! We also had lovely neighbours who helped us give tips about the are and loaned us items to help in the house (for example a vacuum cleaner). The surroundings were peaceful and it was only a 10-15 minute walk or 3 minute saleng ride to the closest beach which had lovely beach restaurants we went to nearly every day. Mikhail has been helpful and responsive when we were booking the place and at departure as well. Coming to this villa and staying in Huay Yang was very special for us and we will definitely be coming back to this exact same place.
