House vacation rentals in Knysna

Before I review this beautiful residence, I have to say a word about Emmie and Willie. They are the sweetest, kindest couple, you will ever wish to meet. Not only kind, but also very smart. Emmie being an artist, among other things, and Willie, a master builder, and a rugby fanatic! We have been fortunate enough, to have visited this beautiful area a few times, but this time it was special. Emmie and Willie’s home, is perched way above the town of Knysna, with a gorgeous view, that spreads for miles. There are 4 bedrooms down below Emmie and Willie’s living quarters, with a private entrance. Ample room for a group or a large family, to stay. You have everything you need to make your stay more enjoyable, including a refrigerator, microwave, cooker, washing machine and tumble dryer. This place really is the real deal, and your home, away from home! To top it off, they have a gorgeous dog, named Mia. Stunning location with beautiful accommodation ideal for a getaway. The cabin is well equipped with quality finishes making it a perfect destination to explore the Garden Route from.

Nadia is gracious host. Very responsive and accommodating to our group. Her house is a little piece of heaven. Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. We were four couples staying for the weekend. The house is spacious and well kept. It has everything you could need or want for your stay. We would love to come back in the future!

We loved our stay at Brenton Rest

We had a fantastic stay at Adrie and Neville’s place! The house is exactly as shown in the photos: spacious, private, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Adrie and Neville were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The pool and jacuzzi were absolutely fabulous, and we loved having access to Netflix and Disney+, plus the pool table, ping pong, and foosball, perfect for relaxing and having fun. We also really appreciated having our own space to unwind and enjoy some quiet time, we felt completely at ease and comfortable throughout the stay. There’s a great laundry area, and the neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. Just 4 minutes away, there’s a lovely restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The area felt super safe, and it’s ideal for couples, families, and even guests traveling with dogs. Highly recommended, we’d definitely love to come back!

We stayed the 3th time at the Cliff house. The house has an amazing view on the oceaan and the Heads. Its a wonderfull place to enjoy your family time

We really enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time. The view was amazing, and any questions we had were answered quickly. :)

We loved our stay at the house in Belvidere. It was very private with fantastic views from the balcony. We enjoyed chilling out and eating our breakfast looking out at the stunning scenery, lagoon and birdlife. We even saw The Knysna Lourie, as it flew up to the balcony. The Belvidere Estate is very well kept and we loved our time there. The Bell Pub and The Oak Leaf Cafe were very welcoming with lovely food. Gail was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would definitely love to come back and we would recommend to friends this beautiful area and house.

We have stayed before and returned because it was a perfect stay. Great family home. Super layout and full of everything you may need. A great option and a must stay.

Wonderful Stay with a Stunning View! We had an amazing stay at Silvia’s Cottage! The view is absolutely breathtaking, the neighborhood is peaceful, and the apartment was spotless, lovingly decorated and very clean. Silvia welcomed us warmly and gave us a lovely farewell. She was also very quick and helpful in communication. The area is simply beautiful, and we can easily imagine coming back here again. Highly recommended!

From booking to checkout Doug and Carla were great hosts. Doug accommodated a late check-in, helped us register with security to access Thesen Island, and took us to the property for a walk-through. The home was spotless, incredibly spacious, and had every utility and modcon you need. A pleasant surprise was the addition of a pool between booking and arrival. The outside space and boat deck make for the ultimate Knysna vacation spent on the water. The restaurants and bars of Thesen Harbour Town are a 5 min walk. We will be back. Thank You!

We had a wonderful 6-day stay at this beautiful and well-equipped home in Brenton-on-Lake. The house is in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything you need for a comfortable holiday is provided. One of the highlights was sitting outside and seeing the bushbucks wandering past—it was truly magical! Communication with Jacques was effortless; he was helpful and responsive throughout. It was an absolute pleasure staying here, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat.

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay, we love knysna and this spot on the heads has the most breathtaking views, walkable down to the lagoon and restaurants. Was truest a peaceful stay.

Jackie was a fantastic host. She was so friendly and helpful. She gave us loads of local recommendations and assisted us when we needed a taxi. The house was really nice too.

We loved our stay at C25 The Island, Knysna Quays. It is a gorgeous home and so comfortable and homely. It is so beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and has everything you could need for a home away from home. We wished we could stay longer! Heather is a warm and engaging host - quick to respond and so happy to help with anything you need. Heather loves Knysna and is eager to share it with her guests. Our check-in was handled by her lovely daughter Jenna - which was quick and easy. We will definitely be back - it was everything we had hoped for and more.

We had a wonderfully stay wish we could stay longer. This is one of the top places I have ever stayed in. Location ten out of ten, interior ten out of ten, kitchen, rooms, living area the whole house ten out of ten. Sunset view from the house is priceless. Will definitely recommend this and would love to go there again.

What a wonderful tranquil place to stay! We enjoyed the breakfast and meals in the conservatory overlooking the beautiful surroundings. Accomodation was clean and very roomy. We had we all had a wonderful stay there and were so sad to be leaving it. Thank you and we felt very safe throughout our stay
