Treetop off grid eco cabin on the Black Isle, large french doors look out through the Scottish woodland, the cabin sleeps two in a very comfortable double bed, and has a large covered viewing deck. There is an outdoor kitchen area with a gas camping stove, pizza oven and table/ chairs. Being off grid there is no mains electric, lighting is provided through a mix of solar and battery lights. No running water, bottled water for drinking and washing is provided The cabin has a Woodburning stove.

This cosy Highland cottage on the Black Isle, 1 mile off the NC500 route, is newly refurbished on the Redcastle estate. The walks and views are breathtaking and a mere 10 minute drive from Inverness and Beauly. The Redcastle ruin itself is steeped in history and this area makes an idyllic location for a relaxing few days away from it all. This charming cottage is comfortable, warm and tastefully furnished. Cosy bungalow in nice wee village; shops and train/bus routes. The Ground floor is included in this listing; upstairs is kept for storage. One double bed only, the listing says one bed in lounge, only sofas but I can’t correct this… There is a covered deck out the back door, great for sitting out in the rain! Good base for access to rest of NW Scotland; on the edge of the NC500, 14 miles from Inverness. Please read the house manual; note this is a quiet street and not a party house..

My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Juniper Hut 500

Wood lined hut set in woodland in a peaceful location with a pond nearby but with easy access to Inverness, North Coast 500 and the west coast. It has spectacular views of Ben Wyvis where the sun sets at night. This is a new hut we have built next door to our Red Hut 500 which has been so successful but it has the benefit of a small kitchen. The Hot tub is booked separately and paid for on arrival, the hot tub is £25 per night.
