The place is nice and in a very quiet area. You can get around well on foot, but it is best by bike. We were kindly allowed to borrow these. There was a very delicious breakfast on the 1st and last morning from Jose.

An outdoor dining area is featured with a table set for two, including plates and glasses on woven placemats. A planter with blooming flowers adds a touch of color, while the surrounding greenery creates a peaceful ambiance.

The location of the place is great. You can reach the beach, restaurants and shopping in less than 5 minutes on foot. The connection of public transport to nearby cities is also perfect. Anton’s place was perfect for our needs. Much more reasonable than staying in Amsterdam and larger with more amenities. Monnickendam is a great little town with lots of options to get outdoors, like hiking, walking, or biking. Public transportation is efficient with many options and it’s about 30 minutes to Amsterdam Central. Anton gave us excellent recommendations that included a walk to Marken, combined with a ferry to Volendam. We will look to return sometime in the future. Thanks for the great stay!

We felt right at home at the place! It is in a very quiet and relaxed area. Everything was super clean. Coffee/tea and even chilled drinks were available. Amsterdam and The Hague can be reached in about 1 hour by public transport. A grocery store is only a 10-minute bike ride away (which may be used by Bianca). All in all, we can fully recommend the property!

A nice studio where everything was thought of.. unfortunately we only found out in the morning that I could have had cappuccino for breakfast.. so there is a milk frother! Maybe it's another idea to be able to book breakfast. But for a late breakfast, you can always go to the tea house further down the street! Furthermore, excellent beds, shower clean and nice! Everything has been thought of in the kitchen... really perfect! We can imagine that it is a great place to stay in the summer! Also ideal are the bikes with which you can cycle to Haarlem!

Beautiful location and home! This tiny home is well thought out and has everything one or two people need. Watergang is quiet, serene and beautiful. It was completely silent at night, a nice respite from busy travel days in Amsterdam! Johan was friendly and proactive and quick to respond to any questions I had. The bikes included in the rental were an absolute highlight! It was a great way to get around Amsterdam as Watergang is a bit outside of the city but I made going into the city a fun bike ride or alternatively the bus is very quick into the city.

What an amazing find! This is my second stay at this place. My friends joined this time and they were all impressed. There was enough space for 5 of us. The grounds are stunning. Lots of outside space to sit out and relax. The inside is also very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was huge and modern. We had no problem that there is a curtain in place of a door. There is a macaw who lives on the grounds who came to hang out with us. The owners are very friendly too. Overall I highly recommend this place.

The time at Hilde and Bram's was great for a short trip to Amsterdam and the surrounding area. You can ask for a day in the city. The view and nature are super beautiful and you can get to the city very quickly by bus and by bike. We will be happy to come back!
