Highly recommend! Great host, great apartment, and a great location. Stefan kindly gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

The directions given to us for getting from the airport to the apartment were concise and easy to follow. Checking in was an easy process thanks to the instructions given to us. The apartment was well presented, very clean and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was a ten minute walk to the old town where there were many restaurants and bars. We’d definitely stay in this apartment again.

This was the perfect home base for our Iceland adventures. The space was clean, comfortable, and well designed. The building was quiet and situated downtown so everything was walkable. Gunnar provided a lot of wonderful recommendations and helpful tips on parking. Great space, excellent host.

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Our favorite thing was the heated bathroom floors (which we now want for our own bathroom at home)! Odi was awesome responding very quick to all of our questions. The only issue we had was we arrived at a crazy time for the parking garage and finding a spot close to the door was tough. Had we arrived an hour earlier or later it would have been fine. Odi also accommodated our request to park later than checkout which helped a lot. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Everything was fantastic! The place is perfect and has everything you'd need for short or long term staying. Great wifi, 5min walk to grocery store, communicative host, and comfortable home. Would definitely stay again! Tanks Sólveig!

Best Airbnb we stayed at in Iceland by far. Fantastic place and location! Really close to 10+ restaurants (several right across the street) and things to do. Very clean and spacious with nice views of harbor and mountains. Had a large shower (I only mention this because in other Airbnbs we stayed at in Iceland, the showers were so small that you could barely turn around in them). Host was responsive and helpful.

The apartment was very nice, with everything you need. The center of Reykjavik can be reached in a few minutes by car or by bus. Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. You can see the mountains around Reykjavik directly from the apartment and we also enjoyed the northern lights from the terrace one evening. We felt very comfortable and Eggert was always helpful and very friendly. Upon our arrival, we found fresh toast, cheese and drinks from Eggert in the fridge, which was very nice. So the accommodation is highly recommended, and we will be happy to come back.

Tara’s home was a great find. It’s close to the city center (15ish minute drive) in a quiet residential area. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook full meals, grill outside, grocery store 2 minutes away. Book, games and toys for the kids including soccer and basketballs. Everything we could need was available. She was quick to respond to questions and was kind enough to let us check in early after our red eye flight. Highly recommend.

The house was spacious, clean , tidy and we felt at home. All amenities and description were the same as in the advertisement in air B&B. Nice neighbourhood and easy to walk to the supermarket although we had a car. Definitely recommend to others Kjartan was a great host before and during our stay . Iceland is a lovely country.

Have been staying in Airbnbs since 2017 and this had to be the most gorgeous view and stunning Airbnb. Would stay again!

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

The apartment was a perfect base for a week of exploring the West of Iceland. It is located on a beautiful peninsula which was peaceful to walk around in the evenings, whilst being close enough to the centre of Reykjavik to be able to easily explore. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Thura was a very responsive host, replying quickly to any messages. We would definitely recommend the apartment to others.

Good place to stay near downtown.

Jette’s house is ideally located to get into Reykjavík and to get out into the absolutely stunning countryside. Located just of the motorway But well soundproofed and superbly insulated you certainly won’t get cold. Jette stayed in contact just enough but felt approachable at the same time. Plenty of grocery shops around so you can cook in the well equipped kitchen. By car it takes about 5-10 mins to get into the old town. Have fun.

Great house, very clean and easy to find. Host was extremely quick in replying and helpful. Would recommend as a base if exploring Rekyavik and south Iceland!

Seven minutes drive to downtown Reykjavík. Great parking at the church for the cheapest parking price in town and incredibly secure. Average price was about half price or better of any hotel downtown. Savings allowed me to have a rental car and do some of my own touring. Parking was great on site at the apartment. Very clean building and facilities. YouTube was great for learning how to use the stove and wash washer/dryer.

We loved staying in this sweet apt. Quiet, clean and close to everything. Perfect for a couple wanting to explore the city.

We spent a wonderful weekend just before Christmas at Ingvar's place. The apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean, elegantly furnished and most of all lovely, warm and comfortable. Ingvar was a responsive and helpful host and our family loved our stay. We knew the area from a previous visit and it's just a short walk into the centre of Reykjavik. Ingvar and his apartment are highly recommended, especially to those with children and we would love to come back! We truly felt right at home.

Hronn and her husband were fantastic. After a red eye flight, we were hoping to check in early. After reaching out, Hronn said we could check in at 10:15am! This was AMAZING! We actually happened to meet Hronn and her husband at the door and they were lovely people. Her husband even pointed out some things with the door to the parking garage. 10/10 would stay here again.

Great stay in Reykjavik! Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in the city. Walkable to many museums, restaurants, and shops. Super convenient! The hot tub is an added bonus :)

Beautiful condo, conveniently located on the edge of the city. Nice hot tub and easy to park, get to grocery store, etc. 15 minute drive into the heart of Reykjavik. Very clean and spacious.

everything was awesome at this wonderful home in the best street in Reykjavik. highly recommend if you want to be in the middle of the city and walkable to highlights. Sigrun was also a very attentive host. I would ask a coffee bean grinder and press for those looking to brew their own coffee but the nespresso was plentifully stocked!! Tip to book a bus from airport like FlyBus which is far cheaper than the 150 to 200$ it otherwise costs for a taxi.
