Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Kjósarhreppur

Andri was the most helpful host we've ever experienced! The instructions for getting there were wonderful and he checked in with us a couple of times during the week through the app. The condo was exactly as described and was plenty of room for the two of us. It would fit 4 if the sofas were utilized but it's important to note that the sofas are 6 feet in length so they would not fit tall adults very well. The bedroom is small but the bed is comfortable. We had everything we needed in the condo which was very clean. Having a washer and dryer made packing easier. There is an elevator to the condo. The location was great for us especially since we rented a car but is a little outside of downtown (5-10 minutes) and the area is being built up so I expect there will be more shops and restaurants nearby in the future. Being able to look out at the water each morning was a beautiful start our day plus checking for whitecaps was a quick way to assess how windy it was.

The directions given to us for getting from the airport to the apartment were concise and easy to follow. Checking in was an easy process thanks to the instructions given to us. The apartment was well presented, very clean and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was a ten minute walk to the old town where there were many restaurants and bars. We’d definitely stay in this apartment again.

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We loved this place and perfect for our family of 5 of us So central to everything and we could easily walk everywhere Very close to bus pick up for our excursions Odi was very responsive and wonderful during our 6 night stay! There was a bit of confusion over finding the key location but once that was sorted our stay was wonderful! Next time we would recommend having wifi available on your phone for outside the apartment as without wifi it is impossible to communicate with Airbnb until you are inside the apt! We will be back!

Best Airbnb we stayed at in Iceland by far. Fantastic place and location! Really close to 10+ restaurants (several right across the street) and things to do. Very clean and spacious with nice views of harbor and mountains. Had a large shower (I only mention this because in other Airbnbs we stayed at in Iceland, the showers were so small that you could barely turn around in them). Host was responsive and helpful.

The apartment was very nice, with everything you need. The center of Reykjavik can be reached in a few minutes by car or by bus. Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. You can see the mountains around Reykjavik directly from the apartment and we also enjoyed the northern lights from the terrace one evening. We felt very comfortable and Eggert was always helpful and very friendly. Upon our arrival, we found fresh toast, cheese and drinks from Eggert in the fridge, which was very nice. So the accommodation is highly recommended, and we will be happy to come back.

Tara’s home was a great find. It’s close to the city center (15ish minute drive) in a quiet residential area. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook full meals, grill outside, grocery store 2 minutes away. Book, games and toys for the kids including soccer and basketballs. Everything we could need was available. She was quick to respond to questions and was kind enough to let us check in early after our red eye flight. Highly recommend.

The house was spacious, clean , tidy and we felt at home. All amenities and description were the same as in the advertisement in air B&B. Nice neighbourhood and easy to walk to the supermarket although we had a car. Definitely recommend to others Kjartan was a great host before and during our stay . Iceland is a lovely country.

Have been staying in Airbnbs since 2017 and this had to be the most gorgeous view and stunning Airbnb. Would stay again!

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

The apartment was a perfect base for a week of exploring the West of Iceland. It is located on a beautiful peninsula which was peaceful to walk around in the evenings, whilst being close enough to the centre of Reykjavik to be able to easily explore. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Thura was a very responsive host, replying quickly to any messages. We would definitely recommend the apartment to others.

Good place to stay near downtown.

Jette’s house is ideally located to get into Reykjavík and to get out into the absolutely stunning countryside. Located just of the motorway But well soundproofed and superbly insulated you certainly won’t get cold. Jette stayed in contact just enough but felt approachable at the same time. Plenty of grocery shops around so you can cook in the well equipped kitchen. By car it takes about 5-10 mins to get into the old town. Have fun.

Great house, very clean and easy to find. Host was extremely quick in replying and helpful. Would recommend as a base if exploring Rekyavik and south Iceland!

Seven minutes drive to downtown Reykjavík. Great parking at the church for the cheapest parking price in town and incredibly secure. Average price was about half price or better of any hotel downtown. Savings allowed me to have a rental car and do some of my own touring. Parking was great on site at the apartment. Very clean building and facilities. YouTube was great for learning how to use the stove and wash washer/dryer.

We loved staying in this sweet apt. Quiet, clean and close to everything. Perfect for a couple wanting to explore the city.

Hronn and her husband were fantastic. After a red eye flight, we were hoping to check in early. After reaching out, Hronn said we could check in at 10:15am! This was AMAZING! We actually happened to meet Hronn and her husband at the door and they were lovely people. Her husband even pointed out some things with the door to the parking garage. 10/10 would stay here again.

Great stay in Reykjavik! Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in the city. Walkable to many museums, restaurants, and shops. Super convenient! The hot tub is an added bonus :)

Beautiful condo, conveniently located on the edge of the city. Nice hot tub and easy to park, get to grocery store, etc. 15 minute drive into the heart of Reykjavik. Very clean and spacious.

everything was awesome at this wonderful home in the best street in Reykjavik. highly recommend if you want to be in the middle of the city and walkable to highlights. Sigrun was also a very attentive host. I would ask a coffee bean grinder and press for those looking to brew their own coffee but the nespresso was plentifully stocked!! Tip to book a bus from airport like FlyBus which is far cheaper than the 150 to 200$ it otherwise costs for a taxi.

My family and I stayed here for Christmas and New Years! The location was perfect for going in and out of town to look for the northern lights and still close to the city center for shopping! Hradnildur also gave us a list of recommendations which helped us find the hidden gems!
