It has all the equipment a house needs. A spacious living room, a kitchen. Two big beedrooms, and a smaller bedroom. Double beds. Two bathrooms, master bathroom with a bathtub, and a bathroom with shower. A “Mancave” on the patio outside. A hottub. We are situated in the middle of the NORTHERN LIGHTS district for the winter months.

The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Wonderful location, just away from the "bustle" of Reykjavík, but only about 5-10 minutes drive away (and Reykjavík has plenty of parking). There's a bus not too far if you don't want to worry about drivint too! The nature reserve in the backyard is amazing, allowing pleasant walks along the paths, lake, and to the lighthouse. All the rooms are nice sized and made for an excellent place to come home to for relaxation, or cooking a meal if that's your thing (although the food in Reykjavík was fantastic).

If you are looking to stay near the National Park and enjoy a private, incredibly quite relaxing trip, this is the most amazing choice. For us this home was the perfect space, incredible design, stunning views with impeccable lighting. We needed to rest and relax while exploring the vast landscape of Iceland and this was beyond perfect. We will absolutely be back.

Helga is a fantastic host! The property was great and was perfect for the reason we went to Iceland - Aurora Borealis !!! The northern lights were so great and we enjoyed them right from the deck of the cabin. Walking around the entire home while taking photos was perfect. The hot tub is excellent and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were greeted with a tasty cake and enjoyed the kitchen daily. Great hot water and shower. Slept so well in the comfy beds and linen. I can’t say enough about this property. Already trying to figure out when we are visiting again. Absolutely the best trip we could have had. The location is perfect for so many different sites inThe Golden Circle and the Geyser area!! Waterfalls were beautiful and within driving distance. A geothermal spa is just moments away. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

This house was perfect. The hostesses met us when we arrived, gave us instructions on things they wanted us to make sure we knew (for safety and such due to the temperatures), and spent around 2 hours giving us a tour and history of the house. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed and they were so thoughtful with all of their recommendations for activities with our children. We 100% recommend this house to others and we will be coming back in the future!

Disa’s place was perfect for us, cozy and stylish in a beautiful setting. Not too far from town but felt remote. Very comfortable bed, refreshing shower. We appreciated making coffee in the Moccamaster.

The apartment was on the ground floor. All the furniture is very functional both in the kitchen (the set was complete) and in the bathroom (presence of a washer and dryer). In 15-20 minutes, you can get to the center of Reykjavik. But above all, the effective and ever-present support of Sabine. I believe that this is the real competitive advantage that can give security to the presence and the housing solution. Congratulations, Sabine!

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.
