Underbart hus med vacker omgivning, elmar va alltid snabb på att svara ifall vi hade frågor. Vi trivdes super bra och om vi åker hit igen är detta ett självklart boende

We hebben een superfijne vakantie gehad in IJsland. We hadden zeer last-minute beslist om op vakantie te vertrekken. Berglind heeft voor ons alles in het werk gezet om haar huis in één dag op orde te brengen. Ondanks onze late beslissing, was het huis in de namiddag van aankomst al klaar. Het huis is enorm leuk ingericht, genoeg ruimte, de keuken is goed uitgerust en de 2 badkamers waren ook top! Onze dochter van 5 heeft zich ook kunnen uitleven met het aanwezige speelgoed. Verder hebben we er nog genoten van de hottub op het terras. Berglind is een geweldige host, ze reageert snel op al je vragen.

Very nice and cozy family cottage near lake Thingvallir. Small kitchen, but great outdoor gas bbq. Friendly and communicative host. We definitely would stay here again on a next visit.

Great location that’s outside the hustle of downtown Reykjavik. Sweet neighborhood and extremely well-kept home with beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

If you are looking to stay near the National Park and enjoy a private, incredibly quite relaxing trip, this is the most amazing choice. For us this home was the perfect space, incredible design, stunning views with impeccable lighting. We needed to rest and relax while exploring the vast landscape of Iceland and this was beyond perfect. We will absolutely be back.

A really lovely, homely place to stay. Very convenient for the Golden Circle yet tucked away in a lovely peaceful location. Fantastic to sit in the hot tub at the end of a busy day.

Excellent séjour, le logement était propre et correspondait à la description. Les commodités autour du logement sont aussi un plus. Un supermarché est accessible à pied et se situe à 200 m. Une ligne de bus donnant accès au centre de ville de Reykjavik en 15 mn avec un passage des bus tous 15-20 mn. Les taxis sont disponibles également jusqu'à très tard la nuit a un tres bon prix. Communication facile avec Annel, tout a été simple pour un bon séjour. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

We've stayed here twice now and again it's absolutely amazing, the scenery, the apartment, the host all amazing and nothing to complain about. one of the best places I've ever stayed at.

The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything needed. Shower Soap and shampoo were not offered. The living room area had 2 beds instead of a sitting area, however the kitchen table and chairs were fine to sit at.

Great location & included parking. Newer apartment complex not far from the city. Area is still under a lot of construction but when finished it will be really beautiful. Apartment was wonderful, clean and spacious. Our family loved it! We even saw the northern lights right out our window! And you can walk around the building and see the beautiful ocean and a small black sand beach. Area felt very safe as well. Having washer and dryer was just what we needed. We also absolutely loved the food and ice cream place at the end of the street and the fact that it was open late! Thank you !

Dísa's accomodation was outstanding. It was everything we could have asked for and more. We wanted something remote so we had more chances of seeing the aurora and we were amazed how stunning it was at the property - better than the tour we went on! There were some lovely walks we could take from the front door - just make sure you dress for the weather! Her dog Bonzo even joined us for the hikes and he was a lovely companion showing us the way. Dísa even came and gave us some eggs freshly laid on the farm that morning! The property was clean, spacious and well equipped. There are some local activities that Dísa recommended and can get some discounts on. We opted for a lovely natural hot springs which was just the ticket to soak in the thermal rock pools with the snowy mountains in the backdrop. Thank you again for an amazing stay. A truly unforgettable visit to Iceland!

We stayed a few nights at Helen Inga’s home and had a brilliant time using it as a base to explore the city and the area. Staying in a suburb felt very homely and relaxing. There is an amazing bakery just round the corner and a lovely local pool. It was easy to take a walk or a run along the coast and see the city from a different angle. It was only 10 minutes walk to the busier areas and also easy to use the car we hired. Parking is never a problem. The apartment was clean and warm with plenty of space. Comfy beds! Helen Inga was very helpful when we had any questions. We collected the kids after a few days on a school trip and it was great to be able to do some washing/drying before heading off on our travels. They loved the trampoline, the football area and the piano. Our highlights were hiking up to the Glymur waterfall, skiing at Blafjoll, snorkelling at Silfra, sunset walk to the geothermal stream near Hveragerdi and the lovely fjord side hot pools at Hvammsvik. Highly recommend!

Krisztina’s place was perfect for our first few days in town. We luckily arrived just in time to meet Krisztina at the apartment and she was able to give us incredible food and travel recommendations! The apartment was perfectly located and was surrounded by great restaurants and coffee shops. And, if you have a car with you, there is a free lot just down the street by the pier. We loved our time and hope to be back!

We had a lovely stay. The place really has everything you need, even coffee and cream :) which was much appreciated. We had some car trouble but the hosts were very responsive and helpful. We had a little trouble with the key box initially but figured it out rather fast. Just make sure you are wearing weather proof clothing so you don’t find yourself in the elements whilst getting accustomed to how things work. Otherwise we loved the location and being free to park right next to the house. The area is very quiet and pretty and only a 10/15 mins drive to town.

Stunning location, so peaceful, had everything you needed, very responsive host. Great location for the National Park and snorkelling at Silfra, just 20 minutes drive. Stunning sunset our first night and incredibly comfortable bed. Highly recommend the cottage and host

Superbe logement, avec une panorama superbe sur un lac et les montagnes enneigées. L'endroit n'est pas facile à trouver (nous avons du nous faire aider par des locaux à notre arrivée) mais une fois sur place, l'endroit est idyllique. La maison est propre et bien équipée, conforme à l'annonce. L'hôte est toujours très réactive par message pour répondre à nos questions. En bref, c'est l'endroit idéal pour passer un séjour reposant en Islande, tout en restant à proximité de la capitale et des lieux touristiques majeurs du cercle d'or.

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

The scenery was amazing. It was wonderful to hang out on the porch, though admittedly a bit chilly in early October. The cabin was very cute, well laid out, clean, and with many small touches that made it wonderful. Only downside was that the hot water does have a strong sulfur smell and the kitchen sink is shallow resulting in water often spraying out of the sink due to the high water pressure. Aside from those two minor issues that place was perfect solitude. One other item to mention is that the nearby waterfall trail was very worthwhile. You park in the nearby small neighborhood and walk up an ATV trail. It was amazing to be the only people around the waterfall and to be able to hike further up the mountains.

super ruhig an einem See gelegen. mit dem Mietwagen kann man von dort aus einige tolle Attraktionen erreichen. Gerne jederzeit wieder! Eine Notiz am Rande, die Küche ist rudimentär ausgestattet ( ohne Herd) dafür aber mit Grill im Garten. super bequem, super cozy...

Excellent maison pour un séjour en Islande. Très bien placée près de nombreux sites sympas. Parfaitement équipée, très propre. Mention spéciale pour la sauna avec une fenêtre sur la nature et aussi pour les lits d’ailleurs qui sont très confortables. Je vous recommande cette maison sans aucune hésitation.

Very peaceful and homely cabin in beautiful surroundings. Svanna is very helpful and the cabin is well kept and cosy. Rural location - we were lucky enough to catch the northern lights 4 nights in a row! Would happily stay again, thank you ☺️

Friendly hostess, well equipped home, quiet place, fell like home. Highly recommended.
