This is the venerable Welfare Building of the Mågerø Air Force's facility. The building appears as it did when it was a military base. Relax in this peaceful place, 200 m to a very sheltered beach with solid sand, large and spacious, boats for fishing and mountain bikes can be rented in addition. This is an old building and the interior is not up to date. But in return there is plenty of space both outside and inside, you get a code for a gate to get in with the car. Tjøme is bike friendly and there is a bike path along the island and all the way to Tønsberg. A children friendly beach, a summer open bakery, and a cultural center is within few minutes walk.
