In the summer, you can take a dip in the river in the backyard, and there are long planks from the cottage to the beach. 200m away is Äkäsjoki, and a 15-minute drive away is one of Europe's best salmon rivers, Torniojoki. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

hand built round log traditional lapland cabin by the lake with magical forests, animals, and activities. half way between rovaniemi and levi. beautifully simple and with everything you need, one of us must meet you on the other side of the lake when you arrive and take you to cabin on snow mobile or by boat (depending on time of year). we have a hand built separate sauna and a wood fired hot tub on site, (hot tub charges apply) plus lake side fire pit and of course log fire in cabin.

In winter a true wonderland of snow, in summer a spot on destination for nature lovers.

LOIMU - a cozy place in the center of Äkäslompolo

The cottage-like and well-equipped end apartment of the terraced house is an excellent destination for socializing. The apartment has a central location, so you can easily reach shops, restaurants, safari companies and equipment rentals on foot. The airport and train buses almost take you to the driveway. Ski bus stops are also nearby. The apartment is ideal for two and also works well for families. Linen and towel sets can be ordered separately at 20 euros/person/booking.

This unique and peaceful retreat makes it easy to relax in the midst of pure nature. The cottage is located in a small village in the middle of the Lapland wilderness. Here you can do skiing, snowshoeing, and fishing. In addition, we organize snowmobile tours as desired. The cottage is about 75km to the city of Rovaniemi. Ice fishing tour 40€ person, 1-2h.
