Good location good communication

The place is small but totally nice and very quiet, although it is in a busy area. Unfortunately, there is no stove to cook. However, there are many great restaurants in the area. The beds are very comfortable even if you have never slept on the floor! We would always recommend the place to friends and family. 10/10!

We loved this peaceful and serene location. We were looking for an escape from the other tourists and this was the perfect location for us. Amenities were top notch!

Terry was an amazing host from start to finish. She picked us up and dropped us off at the local metro station, although it's only an 8 minute walk, it was a big help with the luggage. She was always in touch, for example when a electric kettle was not working well, she immediately replaced it (there was also a normal kettle to use in the meantime!). The space was perfect for our needs, well equipped, clean, cozy, and had a sense of nostalgia that was very enjoyable. It's in a quiet neighborhood behind a historic temple, a few minutes walk to grocery stores, a delightful neighborhood izakaya, bakeries, and a place for the best breakfast and coffee ever called Hive. I will definitely stay at Terry's place the next time I make it to Kyoto... hopefully soon!

A very great traditional Japanese house. Very authentic and clean, it was a great experience. The owner was very friendly and helped us a lot with everything. We enjoyed a lot.

A very nice house in a pleasant and "normal" area away from the crowds of central Kyoto. Although the house is not huge, it is both modern/comfortable as well as a traditional Kyoto house. Nice hosts, too!

The Airbnb was great. Very spacious and had every amenity one could ask for. The wifi was extremely fast and all the technology was very modern. The host was friendly, accommodating, and helped us to check in and check out. Could not have asked for a better place to stay in Kyoto.

The apartment is easily reachable by public transport. It's very easy to find as well. The host, Mr. Naoko, is a very kind person, and he is very supportive and responsive. The apartment has almost all the appliances and utilities that may be required by any guest. To summarise, it was a nice experience and a very comfortable stay.

The accommodation is conveniently close to Kyoto station to go anywhere, although the location is next to the railway, there is no train noise at all when you go to sleep at night, and you will want to stay in Kyoto next time you come to Kyoto, Japan.

The apartment was very nice and located very close to a train station making it very easy to get around Kyoto. Royce was an excellent host and answered very quickly. I would stay here again and recommend anyone to stay here too.

The place is very peaceful and right in Front of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. Walkable from train and bus station.

We had a pleasant stay in Kyoto. The place was photo compliant, clean and in a good location. The instruction to retrieve the keys deserves to be clarified (it was indicated to turn one way, when we had to do the opposite), but fortunately, a very nice person at the reception helped us. After we left, I thought I had left an item in the apartment: the host was very responsive and helped me quickly, which I enjoyed very much. Thank you again!

We had a lovely stay! Kaz is a wonderful host and gave us a lot of tips of the surronding area and of Kyoto in general. The studio was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Short walks to different bus stations. The shrine directly in front is very nice and in the top you have a beautiful view of the city. The onsen nearby was a great plus. The wifi connection was amazing and the fact that he provided us with a portable one made our trip so much better! Perfect stay!!!

The Kyoto apartment was well positioned, close to several bus lines and only about a five minute walk from the river and many restaurants and bars. The washing machine was appreciated and it felt more down to earth to get the experience of a proper apartment while on our travels. The hosts were very communicative and made us feel well hosted.

The host is the most amazing and kind hosts I have been across in my 9 years of being with Airbnb. He picked us up from the station since we had large bags and a baby stroller. We had a good time at his cafe where he hosted breakfast for, he also had fruits ready for us when we arrived. The location is also simply perfect in terms of connectivity to public transport, restaurants and supermarkets. We hope we can stay here whenever we visit Japan again.

The place is very clean, neat and tidy. Has really good quality amenities including an espresso machine, a dryer room. It's very easy to find as it appears on the map directly when you put House Nozomi Hayashi San is very responsive and looked into one of our concerns immediately. It's near a bus stop with multiple buses going into the town. Katsuragawa station is about 1.5 KM, so bit of a walk when you have luggage or are tired. But we got cabs fairly easily. Do your research on places you want to travel to in Kyoto so you can see if the location works for you. In terms of convenience, lots of shops, supermarkets etc are available. It feels spacious. It would have been better to have access to the wardrobe, but we had a short stay so we did not mind living out of our suitcases. Overall good place, good amenities, location is good but that's subjective. Good, professional host.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Kyoto! The place was spotless, comfortable, and very convenient—located in a great area that made it easy to explore the city.
