9 Millburn Street

LisaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lyn’s house was the perfect base for our few days in Kirkcudbright. The house was spotless, had lots of little touches that made it very welcoming after a long drive. There was a lot of info about local attractions, including a map with all the local beaches marked. Lyn was very friendly and responsive with messages. A great place, would definitely recommend.

Cutlar's Lodge, on a beautiful coastal estate

JackRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Orroland. The house itself was beautiful - spacious, comfortable, and full of character - but the surrounding scenery truly stole the show. The views were absolutely stunning, and it was the perfect peaceful escape for our family. Melinda was fantastic - extremely attentive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything feel seamless and relaxed. The only slight hiccup was that our adventurous spaniel still managed to find a way to escape, despite the fencing - but that’s more a testament to her determination than anything else! Overall, it was an amazing stay and we’re already thinking about when we can return. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with family.

The Old Schoolhouse

KaylaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Beautiful house with so much character. The location was so peaceful yet close to Dumfries where we were easily able to get take-out for dinner. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way home but we found the house to be comfortable and well-equipped. The milk and water in the fridge plus all the seasonings/spices in the kitchen were such a nice surprise that we don't often find in AirBnBs, as were the very nice bathroom amenities. The only thing I'd mention - our daughter had us up at 5:30 am because there are only curtains, no blinds/shutters, in the bedrooms and, although the curtains are thick, it was still very bright in the bedrooms as soon as the sun started rising, which is very early at this time of year. Just keep this in mind if you're coming with young kids who are light sleepers!

Farmhouse fab for walking & biking!

BenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in the Lake District. The place was immaculately tidy, with a very well-catered kitchen that had everything we needed—perfect for cooking up a proper Easter Sunday roast, which we were lucky enough to enjoy outside in the garden thanks to some glorious spring sunshine. The wood burner made the evenings extra cosy, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings made for a truly relaxing break. Diana was excellent—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. highly recommended!

The MireHouse - Georgian rural retreat

NickiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely few days at the accommodation. It was perfect for the 6 of us. It was within an easy driving distance for lots of nice places around the Lake District including Keswick, Rydal Caves and Muncaster Castle. After enjoying our activities during the day it was great to come back to the house, which was in such a quiet and peaceful place. We had a lovely meal at The Royal Yew in Dean, we highly recommend it. Overall a lovely place for a break.

Stunning 2BR Apartment in Town Centre Location

StewartRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It’s tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and in a central location. The toiletries provided were really nice and there’s plenty of towels. The beds are very comfortable with good quality bedlinen, pillows etc. The only enhancement would be curtains in the bedrooms, to cut down on overnight light from a streetlight and sunlight in the morning. Overall a very nice experience, thank you. Would recommend.

Emerald Cottage

AdamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a great place, would highly recommend. Easy to find in the middle of the village and park outside. Very cosy inside with good size rooms and fresh modern decor. We visited Easter and the owners had even laid on Easter decorations and cakes! Would certainly return here. The village is lovely with pubs and restaurants all great. There is also a Spar opposite. Not far to the coast for great walks and not far to the forests either. All round a pretty brilliant stay!👍

A fantastic place to stay, a real home from home with everything we needed for our holiday. Clean, tidy and very well equipped and just a short drive to the quieter western lakes and the coast. Ray met us in person and was very friendly, informative and helpful. An ideal base from which to explore the lakes and fellsides, and a comfortable place to recover and relax. Many thanks 👍
