Marine Lodge is a private 19th century granny flat which offers short-stays for couples, coastal walkers, solo travellers plus longer-stays for work, family and friend visits all year round. Quiet, peaceful and entirely self-contained, Marine Lodge is a stone throw from sunrises on Kinghorn beach and a short stroll for sunsets over Pettycur Bay. Perfect for exploring Fife’s coastal paths, Edinburgh and beyond.

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.
The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

Burntisland is ideally situated for exploring further including Edinburgh by direct train across the famous Forth Bridge and St Andrew’s for golf and history.

Bright, sunny apartment directly on the seafront in Kinghorn. Just 3 minutes walk from the train station and 35 minutes by train from Edinburgh, this is a delightful, relaxing retreat with access to the city still on hand. This was our second home and we have decided to open it up to airbnb. It has lots of home comforts including cosy beds, a comfy lounge with smart TV, fast wifi, large American Fridge, ice dispenser, microwave, washer dryer. Towels, bedding and essentials included.

Peace, peace, perfect peace, an absolute gem of a place with a big sea view next to Wemyss castle. Two bedroom, rustic flat overlooking the sea. Wood burning stove. Seconds from the beach. Coastal and woodland walks abound. Very quiet village with a lovely cafe, community pub and heritage centre. Due to its quiet nature there is abundant wildlife, seals, seabirds and deer. The Kingdom of Fife is an eclectic and friendly patchwork of life and land, with a huge heart at its core.

Ancient Castle above the River Tweed
Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle
This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Ashtrees Cottage is in a beautiful rural location and has Loch Leven Nature Reserve on its door step. The Balgedie Toll Tavern & Loch Levens Larder both less than 10 minutes walk from the Cottage. It’s a great place to explore towns and villages around the East Neuk of Fife, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Gleneagles, Stirling and Glasgow. Its a great place to base yourself if you are planning to explore the Lowlands and Southern Highlands of Scotland.
