Der Troadkasten ist ein alter Getreidespeicher, ein traditonell gezimmertes Hozhaus, das wir liebevoll zum gemütlichen Chalet umgestaltet haben. Das Häuschen befindet sich direkt auf unserem Bio-Bergbauernhof auf 1100 m Seehöhe und bietet Platz für bis zu 6 Personen. Dein Rückzugsort für eine ruhige Auszeit oder Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge im Naturpark Almenland in der Steiermark. Hunde sind gerne willkommen, es laufen Hühner, Katzen und Hofhund Luna frei am Hof herum.

So our accommodation offers one thing above all, absolute tranquility. Only the sound of the stream flowing right next to it and the chirping of birds can be heard. An incredible number of activities invite you to enjoy the beautiful nature. Whether in the WexlTrails bike park five minutes away, hikes around Kirchberg or on the alpine pastures. Swimming in a high lake or visiting the Hermannshöhle cave. Motor park, summer toboggan run, ball track, ant trail and much more for children.

Peace and quiet and sun in the mountains

I am renting out my country house, two living levels, large living area on the ground floor with high rooms with carved wooden ceilings, anteroom, kitchen, guest toilet, three large bedrooms and two bathrooms with tub and shower on the upper floor. In the same house - completely separate - a tenant lives on the 2nd floor with a separate entrance from the back via a bridge. Very spacious accommodation for the whole family in the middle of nature in an absolutely quiet and sunny location

Hofer vacation home

We, the Hofer family, warmly welcome you to our vacation home on our organic farm in Kirchberg am Wechsel. Our farm is located in the Bucklige Welt at the foot of the Wechsel directly at the so-called Molzkreuzung. This vacation home, which was built by our ancestors around 1880, has been completely renovated by us from 2022 to 2024 in loving handwork inside and out. Thus, nothing stands in the way of your vacation with the highest level of comfort.

The Bucklige Welt and the Wechselgebiet offer some excursion destinations in summer and winter! In winter, the nearby ski resorts of Mönichkirchen, St. Corona, Semmering, Stuhleck are suitable for skiing or snowboarding.

We rent out our cottage, built in 1928 and lovingly restored, which is located on our organic farm about 1 km from the idyllic mountain village of Gasen in Styria. Enjoy the quiet, decelerated atmosphere in our vintage cottage, ideal for 2 to maximum 4 people. Pets are welcome! Bed linens, hand towels and dish towels are provided, Wi-Fi, tourist tax, pellets (heating material) and all operating costs are included!
