Munro's - A large house with an amazing view!

LindaRating, 5 stars75 months ago
Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Garden Cottage

Amazing homely cottage in a nice private location. This was our last night of rest post-NC500. A shame we only stayed a night, could easily have done a few more and really explored the amenities in the village. Nonetheless a fantastic stay, very comfortable and friendly hosts.
The lodge is set on a grassy plot in a tranquil environment, featuring a covered front porch and a paved parking area. The exterior showcases a combination of light-colored walls and a dark trim, complemented by surrounding trees and a well-maintained lawn.

Our family of 6 enjoyed being in this Holiday park for a whole week. We had the luck to discover a lot of local beauty sites. Furthermore, we visited some Highlands Loch and castles that was amazing. Definitely will be back in future.

My second stay at this place. Was very impressed the first time. A very relaxing and very tidy place to spend a weekend with family. Very good view of the sea and Alisa Craig island rock. Caroline and Stuart were very helpful and accommodating with my scheduling of the stay. Highly recommend this place.

Waterfront House, stunning location with Hot Tub

JoeRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!
A detached stone cottage is presented, featuring a sloped roof and large windows that flood the interior with natural light. The exterior is framed by a lush green lawn and minimal landscaping. A small entrance area is visible, enhancing the charming façade.

Stunning Rathlin cottage

rachelRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Alan and Hilary were a perfect first Airbnb experience! They were incredibly helpful from start to finish, meeting us as the ferry came in and taking us to the accommodation. On the way to the accommodation, Alan told us some great information and history about the island , allowing us to make the most of our short trip . The cottage was spotless and had a wide range of amenities, although, apart from sleeping most of our time was spent outside admiring the stunning view . Rathlin has been an amazing destination to experience .Alan and Hilary's helpful , friendly nature is reflective of our overall experience with the other island locals . We will definitely be returning ! ☺️

This bungalow was absolutely awesome! So well stocked and spotlessly clean. The kitchen had every possible utensil anyone could need (although we ate out every day!!). This was our first experience of AirBnB and we were slightly apprehensive, but we didn't need to be. Thank you Georgie for providing such a lovely base for us to explore the beautiful island of Arran.

We had a wonderful stay at Balmory Stables. A beautiful property in a peaceful location with all the amenities you need. We were so lucky to have a week of non-stop sunshine and the garden was the perfect place to soak that up from morning to late evening. Less than a 10 minute drive to Rothesay with a great selection of shops and restaurants.

Dunadd Farm Cottages , The Old Cheese Loft

BenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Ewan and Lesley! The apartment was beautiful, well laid out, bright and comfortable. The stay is a short drive from town with everything we needed and a short drive from a number of cairns, standing stones and ancient sites. Being right at the base of Dunadd Fort was a delight, climbing the hill to see the surrounds and watch the sunset. Ewan and Lesley were great to deal with, easy communicators and helped us with anything we needed. We were sad to leave.

Creinch Lodge

AprilRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We have a lovely stay and enjoyed the amazing views!! Elizabeth was incredibly responsive and quick to help when we needed anything. We would highly recommend! There are two small things to just be aware of in advance. 1) There are quite a few stairs getting down to the home. Just a caution for anyone with mobility impairments. 2) Selecting “get directions” through Apple Maps or Google Maps in the listing link does not take you to the correct place, nor does manually typing the address. You can get there by using the home’s coordinates or searching for Auchenheglish Mid Lodge.
