West Cork Farmhouse - B and B , Charm and Peace

RosemaryRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Bill was an amazing host and incredibly welcoming. His home is positively cosy and unique. It felt like visiting a family friend. He gave us suggestions on where to visit in the area, which were most welcomed. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely outstanding: fresh fruits from the garden chopped up into an amazing fruit salad, creamy yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, strong coffee, home made jams, antipasto and delicious breads and croissants. Certainly made us feel like royalty! Also thoroughly enjoyed meeting Maggie and Izzy, the resident black dogs and official greeting party.

Beach House on The Wild Atlantic Way Inch,CoKerry.

Sarah SuttonRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Cecilia's place- the views from the living room and the yard are absolutely incredible. There was plenty of space, the kitchen was well stocked, and the surroundings made this place worth every cent. This is an older home with lots of charm and a few quirks, but Cecilia was extremely helpful and responsive, and even sent someone to check on the wifi when we were having trouble with it. The house is private and quiet, but you could be at the beach in just a few minutes by car. We walked along the Kerry Way and enjoyed the beautiful farmlands and countryside, with a view of the water and the mountains beyond it. This place is a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the beach and the countryside all in one.

We are just back from our West Cork holiday, and what a holiday! Such a beautiful part of the world. We really enjoyed staying at Patti and Chris’s lovely little guesthouse. A perfect ‘away from it all’ experience. Waking up to birdsong and peaceful views was magical. To top it off we arranged to have the most de-licious 5 ⭐ meal for our last evening. Made by Chris a (chef) and provided by Patti with delicious veg and salad from their garden! Fabulous hosts who couldn’t have been more accommodating 💚. Thank you Patti and Chris 🍀

"The Barn" Copper Beech Farm

JesseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Barn was such an amazing place to stay on our Irish road trip. it was extremely peaceful, quiet, and serene. The inside is very spacious and the view from the balcony was breathtaking to us. We spent a lot of time drinking and talking on the balcony. I would definitely recommend the barn to anyone that wants to stay out of the city for a while. It is still very close to Cork or Kinsale that you can get food or groceries easily but in the county enough to feel like you are somewhat alone. we loved it and hopefully we stay in many more places like it.

We loved our stay - the house felt very secluded with beautiful views and our son loved the cows in the nearby field, as well as the visits from the dog next door. It is a traditional house that matches the description and the pictures. It is only a short drive to the local shops / town which was great. Thank you for such a nice stay and for all your local recommendations!

The Snug at Ravenswood

ClaireRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We absolutely loved our stay at The Snug. It’s in a beautiful location and being blessed with good weather meant we got to sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the views and garden (as well as visits from Frances’s lovely dog Bear!) The place is really welcoming, the bed was so comfy and there are lovely organic toiletries in the bathroom. It was just so nice to kick back and relax. Frances was also really friendly and so helpful. She gave us some great suggestions of places to visit. We especially loved Barley Cove! I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to book here again when staying near Cork. The place is an absolute delight.

Stayed last week with my dog. Very modern, fully equipped small cottage. Lovely location overlooking the water and also private. Definitely need a car. Rose was very friendly and responsive. Will go back one day. My car broke down while I was there. Rose and Peter went over and beyond the job as they drove me, my dog, my bags back to Cork, I would have been lost otherwise. Cannot thank them enough.

Lovely outdoor seating space with view of the beach and everything you need in the mini house including coffee machine. Stairs are steep so maybe not for those with mobility issues but necessary to make the most of the space. Parking included and great communication from our host. We had a lovely stay! Many thanks!
