Brilliant few days in Arti’s. The place is so peaceful and quiet with amazing views. While you need a car to get them, there are lots of nice amenities to drive to close by, but the real draw is the ability to go off grid for a few days in beautiful surroundings. Arti is also a super responsive and helpful host. Enjoy!

Wesley and Karen have created a beautiful, modern home environment which it was our privilege to share for a week in early April. All cooking, relaxing, sleeping and shower room facilities are spotlessly clean, warm and modern. There's a SPAR shop nearby for picking up daily groceries plus they offer a good selection of freshly cooked meals. There's a locals pub at the top of town which is very welcoming and full of characters. The Annex is well located for access to local villages like Mitchelstown and Fermoy where there's shops and cafes. We went to Cork by car, but parking is expensive, so you could go by train. We then went on to the coast at Fennell's bay and had a lovely meal at 'The Lodge Bar & kitchen'. After a rest day, we visited the coastline at Inch and enjoyed a meal at Kilarney on our way back. So, check the map, there's lots of other towns like Tiperary nearby too. We had a wonderful week making memories to remember. Thanks Wesley and Karen for being perfect hosts.

If you want to stay in an AirBnB in West Cork, pick this one! It is the most beautiful cottage I stayed in, has all the amenities needed as well as the comfort and homeliness you could look for! Victoria’s space is so beautiful and peaceful, you will hardly want to go out to explore (although I recommend doing that as well 😉). Make sure to spend some time exploring Skibbereen as it is a very nice and colourful place! I will definitely return to The Piggery if I find myself in West Cork again!

Una and John are great hosts. We loved our stay at their place and we'll definitely stay there again. They were very flexible with check in times, had a lovely bottle of wine and mince pies waiting for us as well as breakfast supplies. The house was perfect. It was warm, comfortable and very clean with everything we needed for our stay over Christmas. Thanks Una and John for your hospitality.

I booked this for my father who had a great stay at Miriam’s place and would definitely recommend it. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the town centre—yet peaceful and quiet. The accommodation itself was cosy, and clean. He was warmly welcomed with fresh bread and fruit on arrival. The cottage was very clean and well equipped, you will have everything you need for your stay. The extra touches from the host went above and beyond. The location is great, rural but 10/15 min drive to Clonakilty and Rosscarbery so a great base for exploring the area. There is a nearby pub within walking distance. The cottage feels very private, you have your own space, but Geraldine lets you know that she is around if you need anything. This is a great place to stay during your time in West Cork and I would definitely recommend.

Jennifer’s place was perfect! A great little escape. Situation on a idilic hillside with stunning views, it was everything we need as a base to visit friends in the area. Jennifer gave us some great recommendations for dinner and dog walks and they were all as good as suggested. The bed was so comfy and we slept so well! Would definitely book again if we’re in the area in the future.

We booked with Lucy for a few days in the country wanting some quiet and some fresh air - this was the perfect place for that! Lucy was so kind and helpful in advance of our arrival and was so welcoming when we got to the property. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We did not have a car but we were still able to explore the area on foot and took a cab into the lovely town of Kinsale. Could not recommend this place enough - Lucy and her whole family were amazing.
