Number 4 is a 2 bedroom end of terrace cottage nestled on the shores of Loch Shiel in the beautiful historic village of Glenfinnan, 17 miles west of Fort William along the scenic Road to the Isles. The view from front is spectacular and the rear window view is not bad either! Glenfinnan is the place to be for Harry Potter fans as the Glenfinnan Viaduct (The Harry Potter Bridge) and the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express) are both located here. Many locations in the films can be found here

We are situated in Roy Bridge 15 mins outside Fort William, (12 miles) close to amenities and a short walk to the train station. The perfect base to explore the Highlands. The room has a private entrance separate from the main house. The en-suite bathroom is located downstairs. Upstairs there is a loft bedroom with double bed along with tea and coffee making facilities, tv with Netflix and fridge. We are situated just off the coastal road between Arisaig and Morar. If you are looking for peace, quiet and tranquility in your stay, we are here for you. Carounn Apartment is a self catering unit. The apartment is modern with Air Fryer, electric cooker, washing machine, under counter fridge and Coffee machine. Shops, Restaurants/Takeaways, Pubs are 10 minute drive to Mallaig or Arisaig.

Red squirrels, woodpeckers and roe deer - with fawn at foot are regular visitors at present. Parking on site is spacious. There is so much to do in the Oban area, ferries, castles, whales, dolphins, puffins, walking, beaches, watching .....great food - exceptional sea food and the oldest distillery in Scotland, wonderful whisky - what more can you ask?

Set in the heart of Fort William, in the quiet but central village of Inverlochy. It is a 15 minute walk to the train station, bus station and town centre. It is a 5 minute walk to the historical site of Inverlochy Castle. The house boasts spectacular views of Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis and the Jacobite Railway track. There is free on the street parking. There is a take-away and bike hire shop in the village of Inverlochy. Supermarkets M&S,Aldi are only a short walk from the house .
