Staying with Vera could not be a better experience. She is everything you could ask for in a host and more. So thoughtful, and genuinely cares for the wellbeing of her guests. I was lucky enough to stay with Vera for a long stay and found my time at her house to be such a joy and so comfortable. She cleans the house regularly and provides guests with everything you could need to get settled into your room and the neighborhood. On a historic block, you couldn’t ask for a nicer home to stay in. Her home is truly gorgeous and each room is well equipped w everything you need. You feel safe and right at home on her street. You’re situated in between 3-4 subway stops that are within a 10-20 min walk. You can choose between multiple lines that take you into Manhattan within 30-45 mins. The neighborhood is vibrant and welcoming. I found Flatbush to be a great choice to stay and you have everything you need so close. If you’re visiting Brooklyn, you will not regret staying here. The apartment was exceptional, great location and really comfortable. Check in was a breeze and Anthony and Kristin are awesome hosts. They were quick to respond, had great recommendations for the neighborhood and made me feel welcome.

Great stay! Would definitely book again. 3 train lines are a short walk away. Apartment felt safe and secure, clean, and comfortable. Bethany and Michael made themselves available if I needed anything, but gave me space and privacy. Very convenient to have a laundromat directly across the street. The vegan breakfast sandwich from Dolly’s (next to laundromat) is amazing.
