Excellent accommodation in quiet & peaceful surroundings. A bit distant from the main attractions on Bruny Island but one would be aware of that when booking. We enjoyed our time there & would definitely return.

The Workshop

Probably coolest place we've stayed. You can tell how much llve has been put into this cute handmade place. It's dripping with character and we felt right at home. We had a great time hanging out here. Good vibes from the start. The hosts who we ran into briefly - Marina and Uwe are both really great people very personable and made us feel relaxed and at home.

26 BirNB, location and amazing views

SharynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stunning accommodation! 26 BirNB really is just as the photos and description show. Tony was an exceptional host. We really appreciated the thoughtful additional provisions of milk, juice, bread, fruit and even a cold beer. We had the best stay over Easter getting to know the local area and surrounds and enjoyed the nearby walk up to the Mt Nelson Signal Station. Meeting Monty and seeing Wes was a further bonus! Thank you so much for a fantastic stay Tony, we could not have asked for more.

We loved the country setting and did the beautiful local bush walk the next morning. A very cosy room and quiet pocket of bush nearby with views of the ocean made our stay super. Much gratitude for Rosies extra pantry items and safe area to relax in. Thanks very much indeed, if we come to Tassie again we will most likely stop in to stay xx

Loved our four night stay here while we explored Bruny. A lovely place to come home to each day - light a fire and have an afternoon wine - serene and peaceful. Breakfast basket including wine n beer was a lovely touch. Charmain and Peter are excellent hosts with great local knowledge. Highly recommended for couples who want some quiet space.

Private 2 Br cottage on City-Mountain boundary

LisaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sol's place was a homely comfortable space to relax after exploring Mt Wellington. Some of the tracks are accessible right next to the accommodation. We really enjoyed playing the board games, and relaxing in lounge, dining area. Adequate heating that can be moved to whichever room you would like warm. Plenty of well placed essentials ( toilet paper / tissues). I really liked the automatic night lights and their placement. The accomodation and experience overall felt safe, clean and comfortable.

Home away from Home

MoniqueRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Simon's place in Sandy Bay was fantastic. The space itself was large, well furnished, and had all the creature comforts and was exceptionally clean. The location was great. The place was quiet and private. It was close to Hobart and attractions around the city were only a short drive away. Two very minor issues (if you would call them that) were that the bed was a little soft compared to what we're used to, and the sound from movement upstairs could be heard from our accommodation. Overall, it was an excellent apartment and I would recommend to others.

Hobart Ocean View Escape

DougRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The views and garden area are amazing, 10/5 stars!!! We enjoyed our stay and the location makes it easy to explore south of Hobart as well as going into Hobart itself. It's also not that far to go to Bruny Island or Port Arthur for a daytrip. The house is good and has a few quirks to it. It's a bit unusual that the bathroom (which is very nice) can only be accessed via bedroom 2, we were three adults and it is strange for one to have to walk through the bedroom of the others to access the toilet. The washing machine was inside the other bedroom. It all works fine but something to be aware of for some groups of people. In summary, it is a lovely place for two people, and it worked ok for three. The location is great, close to Hobart and Kingston, walking paths are accessible from the house, and the views are indeed amazing, including wallabies and birds right next to the house!

Wayward Mariner - Luxury cottage with water views

JenniferRating, 5 stars6 days ago
An absolutely divine space for a getaway! We stayed for a week in the Wayward Mariner and loved every second. Jude and Ivan were exceptional hosts - warm, friendly, generous, and happy for a chat. Jude was very responsive with messages and pointed us in all the right directions to make the most of our stay. The space is beautifully curated, with thoughtful inclusions and sentimental details throughout which made it feel like we’d been welcomed into a home rather than an Airbnb. Staying over Easter, we were met with adorable bunny details and some Easter eggs - the sweetest! The beds are enormously comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped if you’re staying in, and don’t even get me started on the under floor heating in the bathroom. The views from the house were the cherry on top. Expansive views over the channel and surrounding hillsides were just incredible. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars - I would!
The kitchen features a modern design with a wooden countertop complemented by hexagonal glass tile backsplash. Open shelving displays various kitchen items, while the cooktop is seamlessly integrated. Natural light filters through the nearby window, enhancing the space's inviting look.
