Monthly Rentals in Kilmaluag

The location and small river that runs by the place is idyllic with sheep and cattle grazing right next door. Opening the windows to hear the river was so relaxing. Very convenient to the ferry to Harris and Lewis as well. The perfect launch pad to see all of what the Isle of Skye has to offer!

Franks Cottage was a lovely, cozy haven to celebrate a low-key Christmas in the rugged beauty of Skye. Ina and Allen helped us make right at home, even putting up some decorations and buying some mince pies. We appreciated the hospitality and the beautiful space!

The Old Croft House is amazing and we loved our time there. It's very comfortbale and warm (we were there in deep winter). The views from the extension window are endless and every changing, meaning you could lie there for a week and not be bored! The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. The whole house is spotless. The sauna is a treat. There are some great walks from the house - stunning cliffs, bring your head for heights. The Cuillins are a drive but so is everywhere from the top of Skye, you're not there for convenience but for 'getting away from it all', which the Old Croft House certainly delivers. We'll hopefully be back!
