Our stay at Dunskey Estate was perfect. The cottage is quirky, decorated in a really interesting style which felt really homely. The grounds provided beach access, great walks and fishing at the loch. A great place to stay to explore Portpatrick and surrounding area. The hosts were really responsive too. We will definitely be back to visit.

Heather’s Pods and hospitality are unmatched! The pods had everything we needed and more, they were clean and cosy and felt right at home! Hot tub was lovely and had a beautiful view. The area is a gorgeous place also. Perfect place to relax and will definitely be back! ☺️

Excellent bungalow very close to the amenities in Lamlash. Very clean and the garden is great for dogs, large and enclosed. Rear patio faces South so great for sitting out in the evening if the weather allows. We did not use the Hot Tub but it looked like quite a beast!

What a wonderful, relaxing week in the most perfect cottage. Location was perfect for walks straight from the house as well as local restaurants. The cottage was so beautifully decorated with absolute everything we could possibly need. The sun lounge and walled garden was an extra bonus. We will definitely be back.

A really lovely accomodation that met our needs. Spacious caravan that easily accomodared 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 dogs. We felt at home there and it was really well equipped. The site where it is situated is idyllic and beautiful with lovely walks and beaches. We qould love to return for a longer stay to explore more of this beautiful piece of Scotland. Thank you for having us!

A beautiful house in a fantastic location which had everything we needed for a night away to celebrate our friend's birthday! Thanks so much for having the hot tub on so we could use it the evening we arrived. We enjoyed it again before breakfast... what a treat looking out at the spectacle views on a sunny Saturday morning in March! Memories made will be treasured for a long time to come. We had a fantastic time at Rockliffe, helped by sunshine all day long for a week! The hosts, Julian and Theo were very friendly and helpful, they even showed us around their beautiful garden! The bungalow is fabulous, clearly been recently renovated, with excellent facilities, cooker, washing machine, plenty of hot water etc. The beds were very comfortable. There is an outside covered area at the back of the bungalow, completely safe and ideal for leaving bikes, shoes etc. There is a large garden to use, with table for al fresco dining, and lovely lawn with garden chairs, mainly for sun bathing for us! The beach is a short walk away, and it was great to cool off after long hot days! Dave

Lovely bright modern apartment with everything you could need for a comfortable stay……including binoculars. Great location and views. Great having the bistro on our doorstep. The food was good and the service friendly. Welcome pack in the fridge was a great touch too. Would highly recommend. Hopefully the rest of the hotel gets done up to the same standards.

Had a lovely couple of days here for my birthday- the cottage really feels like a home from home and there are lots of little extras which make the experience, such as games, paintings, pantry items and we loved watching the birds on the feeders - we saw wood peckers and a buzzard sat in the tree opposite. Adrienne is really responsive and made the experience really easy for us! Thanks again x

We had a wonderful time at Abbey Farm. The property was very well equipped with lots of space for us all. We enjoyed the use of the pool table, football table and the hot tub was fantastic. The local are including the beach are lovely and there are plenty of things to do near by. We will recommend to friends and family and hope to return ourselves one day.

We had a lovely stay with our 3 dogs at heron view, we enjoyed the spacious living area and comfortable beds. The utility space was a great nook for the dogs if they were wet from walking. Lovely local pub (the Masonic) with friendly people and bar staff. The hot tub was a massive bonus! Thanks Donald We will be back!

We were Met by George on arrival who couldn’t be more helpful, he made us feel right at home and gave us loads of information on the local area. The cottage was lovely and really well equipped. My daughter made good use of the jacuzzi. This is a really wonderful place and worth every penny, highly recommend for family get away or couple retreat. Thank you

I choose this cabin to get some studying done over a couple of days, and it was perfect for that, soo quiet and peaceful, and you actually need to sit out on the decking at night when the skies are clear and stargaze , absolutely stunning, no street lights, or any lights for that matter , feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but a small local village and shops just 2 minutes away , would definitely book this place again

We had a fantastic few days away in this house. there was plenty of space for two families of four and a dog. The enclosed garden and garden furniture were a great addition, especially as the weather was lovely while we were there. Would definitely book again in the future.
