We had a lovelytwo night stay at Carolyn's place. It was so peaceful and set in the most beautiful surroundings looking over the lake. Carolyn and Daryl were so welcoming and friendly and left us some delicious cakes that were very welcome after a long drive to get to Kilarney. They were incredibly helpful too when we had an issue with our car. Carolyn gave us some good recommendations for walks and we'd definitely recommend the 5 mile walk to The Crack. Really enjoyed our stay.

We don’t have words for this place. We stayed for 3 nights. We had a fantastic time. This place feels like from the fantasy world. Very cozy, romantic and peaceful. Decor is absolutely gorgeous. This place is so unique cause you’ve your own private beach. Lots of activities to do kayak, beach bowling, badminton and list goes on and on you won’t get bored. Brenda & Brad were always easy to reach for help. I would 💯 recommend this place to my friends and family. Would definitely love to come back again.

Our stay at Harris Lake was nothing short of wonderful. If you're looking for a serene escape surrounded by nature, this is the place. Forest views and a warm lake is always what we hope for when visiting Northern Ontario . We got that and so much more. The sound of loons calling in the distance and occasionally up close added to the tranquil atmosphere. The highlights of the trip were the serene canoe rides along with the nightly fires by the lake were simply magical. The cottage itself is a true haven. It was clean, airy, and bright. It had a welcoming ambience that was a home away from home. Mark and Sheila are exceptional hosts. They are friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was perfect. Every aspect of the visit contributed to a very comfortable and memorable experience. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind in nature

My friends and I all try to meet up once a year for an outdoors getaway now that we are spread across Ontario. This was a central location, so we picked it based on the advertised features and photos. What we arrived to was above and beyond what we could have hoped for. A beautiful and secluded getaway on a forested slice of the French River, with plenty of space to house all 5 of us, cook excellent meals indoors in the kitchen and out on the grill, spend all day either hiking, canoeing/kayaking, or swimming in the river. The hosts were excellent, and helped us haul in (and out) some of our heavier gear. We were even able to hike some instruments in and put on a 5-man band performance, all to ourselves (and whatever woodland creatures ended up hearing us!). The hike in and river-pastimes were a perfect match for our fit and active group, but a quieter experience would have certainly been possible had that been what we were after! All in all, would we come back? YES!

We were amazed from the hospitality and quick reaction. We came after the market was closed, and when Larissa realized we missed that, she sent some tablets to the washing machine and dryer. In the morning, the coffee machine didn’t work and without asking for it, she sent a new one 5 minutes after realized it’s not working. Larisa is the most attentive host we ever encountered in AirBNB. The place itself is cute big summer house. The decoration is lovely. The beds are comfortable. The backyard is amazing for kids and also adults. The house is in front of the river. We were a bit surprised by the location next to the boats deck/shop but it was a really nice experience. We enjoyed the weekend and also,Larisa recommended us to take a tour boat and it was amazing experience with the friendly Captain Don. Thank you Larisa for great weekend

An amazing off the grid cabin in the most beautiful location right on the lake. Paul is nothing but an amazing, friendly, accommodating host. did he check in a few hours after we settled but he also checked in the next morning and throughout the trip. Even just taking the boat out on the lake, he was nothing but amazing, providing any and all information. So much more was provided and available not only on the property but in the cabin. the only thing that made this trip better was in fact Paul's dog Scuba. My dog could not come on my trip so having a furry friend was an amazing bonus. If you want a getaway from city life be by the water, have an amazingly chill friendly host and an awesome adorable dog to play with this is the place to be. Will definitely be back in the future.

Stunning and spacious place. Everything was clean and spotless. Having the spa like amenities with the sauna and cold/hot tubs were a nice added touch. Alina is an excellent host who communicated and offered suggestions to us throughout the entire process. Would recommend 100%

There's something special about this place. The description and pictures perfectly set expectations for Niall's Cottage. It was clean and organised with a well stocked kitchen (good pots and pans, utensils and lots of spices). We were going to rent a canoe from Smith Marina and instead ended up needing the water taxi because we had to bring more stuff (bed linens, towels, water, tp...etc). BUT we didn't mind at all! They were very helpful and efficient and got us there quickly all for around $140 round trip. My partner and our pup LOVED our stay and are already talking about going back. From swimming to sunsets and camp fires we had the best time and for a moment, it felt like our own secluded oasis. Highly recommend!
