Vacation rentals with a patio in Kerr County

Mara’s Place is located close enough to the approach to the airport that we enjoyed the fly in of all the small planes most of the weekend, but not so close the noise was a distraction. Except for the full moon while we were there, the location was great for viewing stars, planets, and satellites! The seclusion was great, the coffee time on the porch was relaxing, and the sun rises and sunsets were awesome!! The location was great because the road just outside the property is only 3 miles from the middle of Fredericksburg. We really could not have enjoyed our time more at Mara’s place. Hope to return.

You can tell that Stephen & Cathy put a lot of hard work & love into this place. They have thought of everything! As fellow bird lovers, we were thrilled by the hummingbirds and used our Merlin app to identify a couple of species we hadn't heard before. We also saw deer twice while staying here, including in the backyard! Peaceful, lovely stay! Thank you!

Beautiful place. I did know it was going to be small, but it was even smaller than expected. I did not love the fact that we had to take all of our trash with us when we left. But other than that it was very comfortable and relaxing! Hot tub was awesome, and star gazing was great.

A very peaceful home! My family greatly enjoyed our entire stay at your place. Great river access and Kayaks were a plus! Highly recommend this beautiful home. We will definitely stay here again.
