The Chauffeur’s Flat

LynnetteRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Beautiful little flat in a stunning location. Decorated and furnished to a very high standard with everything you could need in a home away from home. Thoughtful touches like milk, butter and eggs being provided just added to the wonderful experience we had at The Chauffeur’s Flat. We didn’t get to meet Lona but met Peter who was very welcoming and helpful and their 2 lovely dogs who enjoyed barking at our Boxer dog. Highly recommended and we look forward to staying again in the future.

The Bungalow, Forest of Dean

Ms Anne LouiseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Super easy check-in via lock box and useful to have parking right in front of the property. Everything was clean and smelled fresh (not of dogs, which as I am not a dog owner but knew this was a dog-friendly property I had anticipated might be an issue). The spaciousness of the open plan living space was just what was needed to provide my brain with some space as well as the spaciousness of the green surrounding area. Comfy beds and clean kitchen and bathroom. The linen in the main bedroom had some marks on (although had clearly been washed) which I communicated to the host and this was resolved incredibly promptly by the delivery of fresh linen, which was very much appreciated and added to our sense of 'holiday'. Sofas very comfy and squishy for sinking into. Recommend.

Beautiful stay near River Wye

SueRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a great location to reach all the key attractions such as Symonds Yat, Ross on Wye etc. but also to venture into Monmouth or the Cotswolds. Drive is up a bumpy road as Heidi points out but only a short distance. Place was immaculate and nice touches with complementary tea, coffee, milk, juices and bread. Was just what we needed as a base to drive out and about.

Cosy hillside cottage in FoD

DannyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic time at Anita’s beautiful home. The location was superb - the forest of Dean on our doorstep, the river Wye within short walking distance, a comfortable house with beautiful views overlooking the village. The locals were friendly with a nice selection of pubs/restaurants nearby. It was nice to be able to take our dogs along, Anita even left treats and beds for them. A nice touch! Anita was a very attentive host, nothing too much trouble. My family had a very relaxing break. Thank you Anita, highly recommended.

Little Hawthorns Cottage

KayleighRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely couple of nights stay at Aly and Rich’s air b and b with our dog and baby, friendly greeting on arrival. The cottage was very clean and kitted out well (even including a diffuser with the hairdryer for those with curly hair). the only thing we weren’t expecting was the oven to be a counter top oven/grill thing - but it worked okay. The garden is great - both our dog and baby enjoyed it, nice that it is fully enclosed. Very good location for walks in the Forest of Dean.

The Coach House

AlysRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Rob and Ellie were great hosts, sent lots of information on local amenities in the area and nice restaurants to try. Check in was easy and the property was a doddle to find. The property was well stocked with everything we needed to make ourselves at home for the weekend.
