Our stay at Lori and Mike’s place was absolutely fantastic, and Lori truly made it unforgettable. While Mike was away on a trip, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a comfortable, personalized experience. She checked in with us just enough to make sure we were all set and shared amazing local tips that really made our trip extra special. Our stay at the Quail House was everything we wanted and so much more. A truly magical place. Judith was also an incredible host and a pleasure to get to know.

We had a quiet one night stay in this relaxing backyard tea house. Love North Berkeley and it was so nice to walk to our anniversary dinner at Chez Panisse.

A charming cottage nestled in a quiet backyard. It was nice to sleep to the sound of water (from the Jacuzzi) and wake up to the sound of birds. We also found some good Peruvian food place a short drive away for dinner. Great stay overall.

It was a great stay. They have a beautiful property and garden. Berkley is a great walking city. It was fun to explore. This was my 2nd time to Berkeley, and my wife and kid's first. She loved the city. Thanks for a great stay.

Fairfax is a lovely town/village that you can walk to, only about 1/2 mile away. We needed 2 separate bedrooms for ourselves & our grown daughter. The beds were comfy, sheets & pillows nice & clean. The living room had a very cozy couch to sit and/or nap on ;). The kitchen was cute & had necessary items to make coffee & sufficient refrigerator to store yogurts, creamer & drinks ... We were there for a family wedding, so didn't cook because we were at restaurants, venues, etc. ... looked like it was stocked w/utensils if you wanted to make food tho. There was a lil 'fireplace' that came on in mornings & a portable heater in at least 1 room. It did get chilly, so bring sweaters to stay warm in ~ the surrounding redwoods are beautiful~ I imagine you can take nice hikes nearby. We never sat outside on cute porch because it was shaded & a bit too cool out in June- probably great place to sit & have coffee when it gets warm out. It's very peaceful & quiet. Teresa is so sweet & helpful.

Beautiful, relaxing, peaceful! Would recommend to any couple that is visiting SF area yet wants to be away from the city to relax after long days of touring. The location is so beautiful and gives you an incredible experience of what Berkeley is about.

Had a wonderful time at Linda’s place. The room was clean and cozy. Linda gave great recommendations on local places and gave some useful knowledge on the city. Would definitely book again!

My husband and I stayed in Anita’s home for a few days while in the area for a wedding. The photos of the private patio space and well equipped, modern interior were what drew us in and they didn’t disappoint. We had everything we needed including small touches that go a long way like bottled water (and miniature chocolates— a necessity for me personally). The home is well lit with natural daylight, while still being very turn-down friendly with nice shades and window treatments. We really enjoyed the patio space and the (gated) private entry. It was safe, clean and cozy, a very easy place to make home for several days+. While there, we even got a few glimpses and interactions with Anita’s PRECIOUS dog, Oisin and frankly wish we got to see more of him as we were missing our own dog at home (though he is much quieter, and we never heard a peep). Location was great, just a short distance from one of the top rated lunch spots in Sonoma. We’d definitely stay here again!

When we entered Mary Lee’s backyard where the unit is located, we were instantly pleased with how beautiful and well landscaped it is. The studio is well built, with attention to detail and the use of quality materials. The décor was also pleasant and well thought out. In addition, we were satisfied with the fact that they provide 100% cotton towels and linen for the bed. The kitchen was well stocked with stainless steel cookware and everything we needed. Mary Lee and her husband David were friendly and responsive to all our requests. We would be happy to stay at their place again.

Overall, a very nice stay. Michelle was very responsive and quick to answer any questions I had. There was a bit of a hiccup but was all on our end and we enjoyed our stay there. Michelle and Victoria are very friendly and kind people.

Eugenia’s place and Eugenia and her husband are fantastic… One of the most comfortable organic cotton beds I’ve ever slept on, the most enchanting, beautiful property, and every appliance state of the art, efficient and intentional with the touch of love. Eugenia brought me teas, and various unconventional items I asked for. And the natural light and airflow were wonderful. And very healing and the most peaceful and healing neighborhood I’ve stayed at in the East Bay. For anyone looking for a healing retreat, Book this place as soon as possible

David‘s place was lovely. We really loved the backyard as it was very tranquil and very beautifully landscaped. If it hadn’t been such a windy week, we would have spent lots of time out there. The inside of that place was lovely and comfortable. David was a very nice host and very helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Katie’s guest house. Katie had clear instructions on how to check-in, provided lots of great recommendations for food/drink/activities in the surrounding area, and was a great host. She was responsive and friendly! The home was peaceful, private and great for a weekend getaway. We hope to be back soon!

We had a great stay! Loved the close proximity to downtown. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Will definitely book again on our next Petaluma visit!

Sarah’s space was truly lovely — clean, organized, thoughtful, and effortlessly charming and welcoming. I greatly appreciated her attention to detail in both cleanliness and environmentally friendly protocols. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. 12/10 recommend and bonus points for stellar views.

We had a wonderful five days at Magesh’s guest house! The interior is beautiful and we soon felt right at home. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious with a great shower. Magesh was very easy to communicate with, and even went out of his way to be sure we had everything we needed. When I asked if they had a Bluetooth speaker in the house, he sent his wife Rupa over with one for us to use! Rupa also made samosas for us, and on our last night, she brought us two beautiful little cakes from her favorite bakery!

We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The yard is tranquil and beautiful, and the interior is larger than shown in the images. The carpet is fluffy, and the bathroom was very clean. We enjoyed our time here and wished we had more time to enjoy the sauna.

Loved my stay! It was the perfect home base while exploring the Bay Area. Felt super safe—especially as a woman traveling alone—to be behind the main house, a locked gate, and with my own personalized entrance code. The space had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!

Eliza's place was wonderful for us (two parents and a 4 month old baby) for a weekend - we had everything we needed and it was incredibly easy to check in and out. Eliza and her family were there and great to spend time with, but we also felt we had space to ourselves to rest and relax. We will hopefully be back!

it was exactly as described and it had exactly what we needed. felt like being home, nice and quite neighborhood. very confortable bed abd pillos is a must for me and it was just like that! I really enjoyed staying there and would recommend it.
