House vacation rentals in Kennington

The lovely home was ideal place to gather for a family wedding. There were 13 of us, including 4 babes and it worked very well. Masses of space inside the house and to be able to sit outside Thoroughly recommend it as a dreamy place to stage, perfect for all generations.

The most amazing weekend in the most beautiful house! We loved every second of our weekend. So much to do including the swimming pool, games room, tennis courts and lovely walks. Spotlessly clean throughout. We can't recommend this house enough. Stunning property. Anne was so lovely and let us arrive a little earlier to put food in the fridge on a very hot day. She also extended our checkout time which gave us extra time in the lovely grounds. We are already planning a return trip. Thank you Anne. Wonderful weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Although not Sians issue, construction near the train station makes it difficult to get into town by taxi because you have to go around the city. However, if you don’t mind walking and bicycling, there are exceptional bike and walking paths right out to the house from Oxford. I’d stay again in a heart beat.

We had a fantastic stay at Ingleby Retreat! The property was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained — exactly as described. The surroundings were stunning and the facilities (especially the pool and kitchen) were perfect for a relaxing getaway. Amber was a wonderful host — very responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the smooth check-in process. Thank you for such a lovely experience — we’d definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Georgina was a great host, she was there to meet us, and very friendly and interested in our trip. We had booked to go into Oxford for a gig and this was the prefect out of city escape. The home was lovely and Georgina reached out before, and on the day or arrival to check in. She made sure we had everything we needed, which we did. The place is well kitted out and very comfortable and homely. We even got to meet their gorgeous doggos. Would recommend.

We had a lovely time at Sarah's place. It's as the photos suggest and is in a very peaceful surrounding. The barn is next to Sarah's family home, but the way it is oriented means you get plenty of privacy. Thank you for letting us in to your home. We all had a lovely quality time with friends.

I’d like to thank gardener Rex for answering all my questions throughout my stay. Without you Rex, it could have been tricky to communicate. Anyway, I and my family had a good time at Christopher’s place. It’s a place for both peaceful break or active sporting time. Great garden for a calm walk throughout a day, great pool with a hammam(a steam sauna), a tennis court…my family really enjoyed all the facilities. Also kitchen was really well equipped and a welcome bread and milk were delicious! Location was also great. Famous Cotswold big name spots, restaurants, farm markets are within 20 min by car.

Amy's place is a fantastic base for trips into Oxford and Oxfordshire surrounding villages. It is extremely well stocked, including an air fryer, and we had everything we needed as a family with a small baby. The garden is lush and the cottage itself very homely. Would highly recommend

A lovely tucked away house in the centre of Oxford. Really peaceful and well cared for, the house appeared brand new inside and was truly lovely to stay in.

From start to finish, this beautiful property exceeded every expectation. Phoebe was incredibly responsive, helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything a guest could need - from quality linens and toiletries to a well-equipped modern kitchen. The location was ideal - peaceful yet convenient to local attractions. Every detail showed a commitment to comfort and hospitality. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with the service and polish of a five-star hotel in the most stunning location and surroundings. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something a cut above the usual. We would absolutely return without any hesitation. My family was very happy with this Airbnb. The house is charming it feels like a cozy cottage. The amenities such as the high chair and pack and play were useful. The fish and chips place nearby was also a good deal with generous portions and there was also a grocery store very close by open until 11pm every day so it was very convenient.

Elinor was a lovely host who was super responsive and clear about instructions to find the location. Elinor greeted me and showed me through the property and was so gracious in extending the check out time to make a later train!! Loved my stay and would look to book again if ever in the area!

Our family travels to Oxford fairly regularly and this was by far our favorite stay! The home itself is beautifully appointed and exudes Oxford charm. Every space is well thought out, cozy, and efficient. The garden is exquisite—elegantly landscaped and neatly kept. The roses were in full bloom when we arrived in late May and the most fragrant I have encountered! The location is equally superb. The immediate vicinity is extremely peaceful with lovely neighbors and right around the corner are some of the best pubs, restaurants, and cafes that Oxford has to offer. Immense thanks to Annick and her team for a lovely visit! We hope to return again soon.

The house was very nice and peaceful, and it was clean and comfortable. It was a little tricky to find because of roadworks around the station, but it is very easy to walk to central Oxford from the house.

It was really great holidays in a beautiful and welcoming place. Amazing house, great location, easy to get to Oxford ( public bus every 15 minutes) . We enjoyed every minute there. Great host . Highly recommend.

Thyme Cottage is a little gem of a place. The pictures really don't do it justice - it is so cute. We stayed here as we had two nights at Nocturne Festival which was just 10 minutes away so super convenient for this. In terms of the house itself its one of the nicest Airbnb i have stayed in, every little detail so well thought through. it was a super hot day when we arrived but the cottage remained cool and Alison even changed the duvet to a lighter tog for us. It was squeaky clean, lovely little touches like super nice bath robes, 100 acres amenities, a beautiful little garden to sit in which we made plenty of use of , bed was super comfortable and parking was right outside. The interior design of the house was second to none, kitchen well stocked and one of the best showers i have encountered in an Airbnb. Alison is an amazing host, gave recommendations and answered as soon as we messaged. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to all prospective new guests. 10/10.

Anna was fantastically helpful even with my changing schedule, and the space was great, very comfortable and as described. I used the stovetop for cooking frequently, everything was good there.

Very nice place. The kitchen was fully equipped. Good connectivity to the city center. Great for short or long stays; we stayed for one month. Emma was very attentive and helpful with any of our requests

Helen and Steve are the most wonderful hosts and people. The annex is homely and has the best energy. Their gardens are stunning and good for the soul. I would highly recommend this home and the hosts. Both are the best!

A lovely home in a very convenient yet very quiet location in Oxford city centre. Would highly recommend & would love to stay again for another reunion with my old uni friends or another group / family getaway.

Barnabys Cottage is the perfect home away from home. Located behind the main street running through Summerfields, with a fantastic grocery store 5 mins walk and the bus to Oxford right outside, it is the perfect location to explore! The home itself is an absolute treasure of beautiful pieces and comfort! Linens and bedding were nothing short of 5 star, the kitchen was fitted with everything needed to cook a delicious meal at home if you need; & the bathroom supplies (body washes etc) were lovely. Even though there is no parking onsite, there is a public carpark right next door which is super convenient.

Cozy Oxford home base with access to both city and nature. The top floor gets amazing sunlight and is a great work space with a view. We enjoyed the large bathtub on cold, wet nights. The kitchen had what we needed to cook everyday and the bed was comfortable.
