A beautifully renovated 50's beach house in a quiet setting within walking distance to the Swing Bridge and local shopping strip. A well appointed house with stunning views to Lorne pier and surrounding township. A second new living room has recently been added to provide additional relaxation areas. Bed linen and towels provided. The house is not suitable for children 2 to 12 years old subject to a specific discussion. We have a strict NO SMOKING policy for the convenience of other guests.

The Shed

A very spacious light and airy one bedroom 'shed' on a small farm in Freshwater Creek. Quiet and peaceful. Wander round the 1.2km track looking for wildlife or jump in the car and go to one of the many nearby beaches for the day. Dogs are welcome but not allowed in the living areas. Our 4 dogs roam the property. Definitely not a stay for people afraid of dogs. Stable facilities and paddocks are available on request and for an extra fee if you would like to holiday with your horse

This beautiful house was a perfect stay. Full of character with wonderful amenities and a majestic ocean view. Situated directly across the road from the beach and a short walking distance from town, there is something for everyone at this homely residence full of worldly trinkets, books, board games, art and historic photos set amongst the spectacular sound of the waves as a soundtrack. It felt like a home away from home and made it hard to leave. We fell in love with this place and didn’t want to leave. What a privilege and how fateful for us to find and stay at this memorable home🐚🤎🩵🦀

Yaugher Vue Cottage was such a beautiful place to stay. My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed it over our 4 night stay. The place offered absolutely fantastic views and if you’re looking for peace and quiet this is unbeatable. We had everything we needed inside. Host very communicative and informative about extra going ons during Australia Day weekend. Very responsive to enquires. Location fantastic. Plenty of wildlife including cockatoos (both white and black) plus the highlight of visiting koalas 🐨 Plenty of eatery’s and places to visit nearby. Stevensons Falls approx 1 hour away worth the visit. Cape Otway Lighthouse less than an hour away. Clean beach and bays.

Ideal for a group of 5 friends. Lots of room, great kitchen and stunning deck. Problem with one toilet on first night but Samantha was very responsive and helpful. One suggestion ... shower shelf for soap & shampoo is needed, also hooks and rails in bathroom for hanging clothes etc. Overall a great place!

Staying at Gables was a great experience. It is a magical place, so beautiful and peaceful, but also so close to all the amenities that Lorne has to offer. The cottage is well equipped, clean and beautiful. It's impossible not to relax whilst staying there. With bushwalks around the corner and the beach 2 minutes drive away, you don't need anything else.

Wye dream is an absolute delight. Thank you so much for hosting us, Michelle & Matthew. We loved it so much. Sleeping to the sounds of the waves was a tonic. With kangaroos & kookaburra in the backyard it was a quintessential holiday stay. It’s also really rare to find an Airbnb with full linen included and a fabulously appointed kitchen with an ocean view! There so much light & air in the house it feels easy to be in. It’s not flashy…it’s warm and comfortable & spacious. The location is perfect. Not such an uphill hike but still has views of the ocean from the excellent bedrooms. It’s better than the pictures! For anyone wanting to stay in Wye River, pub & general stores are absolute delights and it’s a great base to explore further afield. Thanks so much again. We really hope to come back!

A magical weekend. Peter is an amazing and interesting person who has played an enormous role and knows so much of the history of the area particularly the 2015 bush fires. Not to mention his art and vege garden. The animals that are friends and and a resident koala. The area is fantastic for walking swimming fishing and birdwatching
