We had an absolutely fantastic time here. Would highly recommend. The house was spotless, very well kept. The beds were all extremely comfortable, all with fresh linen. The view was amazing. The house is right on the water. The gardens and estate was an excellent place to go for a wander and explore. Paul was an excellent host. We cant wait to come back again

Words can’t do justice for Seal Cottage. The grounds and the house were simply amazing and we loved exploring the area.

We had a lovely stay at Nina & Noel’s place! Even though the place was small, it was cozy and nicely decorated with wooden carvings by Noel. We met Noel when we arrived, and he was very attentive and open. Noel and Nina were very quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything. Noel was always up for a chat and tips for local activities. The apartment is nice and quiet, with lovely views of the surrounding valley, and a short drive away from Bantry. The sauna was great as well after a long day of hiking. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Nina and Noel’s place if you’re looking for a quiet, cosy holiday surrounded by nature and friendly people! (And two outside cats) 🐈‍⬛🌳 Thank you Noel and Nina for a wonderful stay!

We were a family of 4 adults - a 16 year old and an 8 year old and the house and location were ideal for us as the 2 adults and 2 kids were visiting from Australia. We were able to entertain friends who popped in as there was so much space, well equipped kitchen, huge BBQ etc. We loved this house and would go back. The only negative was the WiFi was not great in the house, but it's also not great reception in the area - so hopefully that will improve. If you were going to work while staying it wouldn't be easy to do so. A great experience was had by all and the highlight was being able to use the pool and leisure centre in Sheen Falls Hotel across the road. Whenever we needed anything Paudie or Kathy were on it immediately.

We had a lovely stay and felt very safe. The house was lovely and spacious. Very comfortable beds and very quiet. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. Blathnaid was a great host and responded to a question from us within minutes.

This was our second time staying at Brigit’s and this time we made sure the whole family came along with Jim our dog. The most beautiful and magical place that we all enjoyed so much. We will be back again!

We had a lovely family holiday in this home, which was perfect for our one year old. Enclosed garden, 3 mins walk to town and lots of space! We will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay with kids at Anne's place. The kitchen, dining and sitting area is supereb..loved the sourranding quiet forested area. We recommend it very much.

This was a lovely retreat. Stunning views over the river and mountains. The area was lovely and quiet, and very well kept. The kitchen and sitting area are very spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. It’s within easy distance to the town centre and perfect for day trips to beautiful spots such as Derreen Gardens. I would highly recommend.

What a wonderful, cozy place with fantastic garden and water views! Extremely convenient as a base while exploring nearby areas. Very nice touches with fresh flowers, bread and wine! Hope we are lucky enough to return someday! Thank you Gavin!

A great spot to stay and Judy is a warm and welcoming host. The house is well-located to explore Kenmare and surrounds. The space is spacious and comfortable; the kitchen works well for self catering and the washing machine is a bonus. The fresh eggs from Judy’s chickens are a thoughtful touch. Recommended.

Perfect holiday accommodation. Very clean with all accommodations as described in listing. Short drive to Kenmare yet in peaceful parklike setting. Wonderful to be surrounded by deer. Frank was most helpful throughout the booking process. We have nothing but good comments.

The boathouse is even better than you think it will be. Beautifully decorated, with lovely light, full of thoughtful touches. The views are wonderful. We loved the outdoor seating and the bench up on the hill. The photos of the scenery are not just of the surrounding area, this is the land that Amiee and Joe maintain. One of the best parts of our holiday was walking the trails. The general area is also fantastic and there's lots to do. Amiee and Joe are very welcoming and gave us lots of tips. If you want a relaxing place to stay that's immersed in nature while also feeling luxurious, don't hesitate. A truly special place.

Loved our stay at Richard's, great location and even better host! I absolutely recommend and hope to be back someday. Was greeted by Ruby who is certainly an Irish National Treasure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. From the comfortable beds to the well equipped kitchen to the ideal location, just outside Kenmare, we loved everything about it. We were so comfortable during our stay. It was truly like staying in a place of our own. A perfect fit for our needs. One of the best properties we’ve ever stayed in. Deidre and Sharon were great hosts.

We had a great stay at the lake house. The house is beautiful and has a lot to offer. The location is private and you have a nice view over the lake. Paul made great suggestions for activities and answered quickly. Thanks for everything!

House was great and very convenient for the four of us that stayed. a little outside of town but a short drive to everything. a great location to "hub" for a few days while seeing areas within a two hour drive. great view on the front porch area.

We stayed at Lucy’s for a family wedding. Even with 7 adults in the house there was plenty of space. Having a bathroom for private use by each bedroom made the stay so much more comfortable for everyone. The house was so so close to the main amenities in Kenmare, you could easily walk in and out. Lucy was a great host, getting back to any messages very promptly.

We had 3 wonderful night & days here. Welcomed by an open fire on the first night which was perfect as we arrived late. We enjoyed the beautiful setting of the house and gardens so much we didn't want to leave. Although we only came from Cork it felt a world away! We'd love to come back soon.

Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this stay. Karen was so kind and the space was beautiful- perfect for our family trip, within 12 min of downtown, lots of yummy restaurants in the area. This stay is definitely a highlight of our trip.

Beautiful house that was easy to maintain and had wonderful views. I’d imagine in the summer it’s even more stunning. Lovely Christmas festive touches were added which enhanced our stay. Usually we’d stay in The Park Hotel but this year we decided to go the self-catering route because you don’t have the hassle of having to eat a breakfast you don’t necessarily want or vacate a room for cleaning. Plus the communal space means it’s much more relaxed for family chats. Had we taken four rooms for seven nights at The Park it would have cost us 12k plus! So we were very happy with the high standard for the outlay. Thanks Ronan.
