Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kemijärvi

We recently stayed in Tero’s amazing house and I can honestly say, it was one of the nicest Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully decorated with lovely wooden beams. The ambiance is warm and cosy and it feels like a home away from home! The amenities are top-notch, including a fully equipped kitchen, living area and spotless bedding, and even a sauna, perfect for warming up after a day out in the snow. The location is great too! Nestled in a wooded area, it is just a short 10 min walk to Santa Clause Village, shops and restaurants. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Rovaniemi. I will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you Tero for your amazing hospitality!

Very lovingly furnished AirBnB in a great location. Walking in about 10-15 minutes you are in the city center and yet the location of the accommodation is very quiet. The kitchen was super equipped and it was very cozy. There were cozy slippers, a fireplace and a selection of games. The beds were very comfortable too. We had a great time and highly recommend the place. :)

We loved Karis' house as soon as we entered. It was warm and everything necessary was available. The sauna was easy to use. Our daughter had her own sledding hill and was always outside in the snow playing. It is very safe for children as you are absolutely private. One evening we even had an aurora explosion directly above the property. It was magical. We were here for 9 days and had perfect weather. The location is great for exploring the area around Rovaniemi. You can also quickly reach the supermarket and the city. Kari is a nice and helpful host. We will be happy to come back and can recommend his log cabin to anyone who does not want to stay directly in the city. Thank you Kari for having us as your guests.

The host Ari is very friendly and helpful. House was clean and everything you could need. The location is perfect. Trip was amazing. The children were thrilled with the garden. The sauna with the music was also wonderful. A magical and great vacation. We felt very comfortable. Thank you.

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

I would like to say a huge thank you to MaRi for such a wonderful home and hospitality. The house is located a 45-minute walk from the city center. By bus, it takes only 5 minutes, and the ticket costs €9. The house itself is very cozy. Mari, as a host, is very responsive and welcoming. She replied to messages within minutes and was very understanding. If any help was needed, she was always there to assist. The house is very warm, the sauna is amazing, and everything is exceptionally clean and cozy. Thank you so much! I will be recommending this place to all my friends and acquaintances. I would rate this home 100 out of 100!

I highly recommend it, it was like being at home. Very clean, spacious apartment with all the essentials. Since we arrived at 10:00 p.m., it was also nice to find the table set and food on the shelves. It saved us! Daria is a very responsive host and everything was extremely simple. Beautiful lake view, a little effort to get to the center in 20 minutes (due to ice/snow) but it is absolutely worth it. Stay here, you won't regret it!

Very nice accommodation, clean, spacious and bright. It is close to the city center and amenities. The presence of the road near the accommodation could be a problem at night because of the noise and light, but it wasn't a problem for us.

Without a doubt the best place I stayed at among all of my Airbnb stays. The bed could fit not just a couple but a whole family, the bathroom has far beyond mere essentials, the furniture was extremely comfortable and the kitchen had almost everything we needed. Only complaint is that the apartment was so pleasant to hang out at, it was difficult to convince ourselves to head out. Also worth noting It was very easy to find and access, and the car parking was conveniently located nearby. Highly recommended.

Simply amazing, the place for perfect for two of us and a great location for everything we wanted to do in Lapland. The hosts are super communicative and friendly.

Antti was booked in a timely manner due to the winter season. The price was reasonable and the apartment was very cozy. The location is great if you like jogging or biking, because there was a good setting next to it, for example, hiking for a observation tower or lean-to.

love that it’s a very cosy and clean place. well fitted with amenities and amazing view of finland sunset. highly recommended if you want to stay in city center.

Had a wonderful stay with Nina. They were so flexible both in check in and check out. The place was quite centrally located very easy with nearby resturants and groceries. The apartment was super comfortable and the beds were super good. we enjoyed the stay and the only pity was i couldnt stay longer

We traveled with our 7-month-old baby and Hanna-Leena was very accommodating with everything (in-cancellation, etc.), which made our trip very successful! The glassed-in balcony was perfect for naps and our sweetheart enjoys bathing so the tub was a bonus. The location by the river was perfect considering all the activities we wanted to do.
