Since the house dates back to the 1800s, it has retained its original charm—including a slightly lower ceiling height than modern buildings. Guests over 180 cm should be aware of this.

The apartment includes an entrance hall, bathroom with shower, kitchenette with dining area (there is a microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle - no cooking option), living room and bedroom in the same room. In total, the apartment is approximately 33 m2. In addition, there is a sofa, armchair, 32" TV with Chromecast and a small radio. Possibility of charging an electric car at an OK charging station 350 meters from the apartment.

Doors are decorated with landscape motifs by the artist Wilhelm Dreesen.

Outside there is a large covered terrace with dining area, sun beds and fireplace. As well as an enclosed garden with plenty of space. In addition, there is a cozy winter room - which can only be used in summer - as it is not insulated. Close to shopping and only a 10-minute walk to the beach. There are about 3 km to the nearest store and eatery. 150 m to the bus stop. Laundry room with laundry and dryer facilities available for a fee. For 2 guests, only 1 bedroom is available.

Kegnæs offers beautiful nature that invites cycling and hiking, fishing and water sports. If you are more into pure relaxation, you can enjoy the peaceful idyll and beautiful nature in Østerby, where our lovely cottage is located less than 100m from a beautiful and undisturbed beach.

The Circus Wagon on Ærø

On Ærø, there is an old circus wagon. Carried by dreams, it has been transformed into an adventurous retreat. The house is hidden in one of the old gardens in the center of Ærøskøbing, 2 minutes walk from the ferry. Surrounded by your own quiet garden with two private terrasses. The spacious 40 sqm house is renovated with modern comfort. NOTE: From June 1st to September 1st, Ærøskøbing is closed to cars. You can park two minutes from the house – free of charge and without time limit.
