Beautiful and peaceful location. Very easy to find. Excellent record music selection and the PAC man wall game was a blast from the past and loads of fun! The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. Decor has a beachy relaxing vibe. Large windows facing the water. Beach is rocky and you will need water shoes for the warmer months if you're a swimmer. Only thing I'll caution is the living room sectional is low to the ground for us older adults with back/hip issues but fantastic for kids lol. Bedrooms are upstairs. The bed I slept in was very comfortable, lots of hot water for showers, wifi worked, lots of kitchen supplies/cutlery, and there were some Keurig cups there for coffee. I'd recommend bringing more if you're more than a cup a day drinker solo or more people staying. Overall I highly recommend.

Incredibly beautiful surroundings, right on the lake. Private and plenty to do with lake watching, kayaking and walking. The house was spotless, simple, comfortable and welcoming, great for a family of four. The fireplace and windows in the main bedroom were gorgeous. Kara and Serge were very friendly and helpful. We’ll be going again.

Our time at Debbie’s cottage could not have been better. We spent our days at all the local wineries which were no further than a 20 minute drive and our evenings by the dock watching the breathtaking sunsets. Debbie was friendly, responsive and incredibly helpful. We could not think of a better place to have spent our 8 year anniversary. We cannot wait to be back one day soon :) Thank you Debbie!!!

Pat’s home was a perfect spot for our girls weekend. The heated pool and patio was beautiful, the beds were comfy and the living space and kitchen were perfect. Pat was friendly in our conversations and always quick to respond to question. We’d come again! Thank you Pat!

Such a gorgeous property and stunning views! The main living area had views from both south and north views of the lake since it is on a point. Stocked with everything we needed. Was a lovely weekend to honour my late uncle with my family. Balsam lake was his favourite spot. We went up the weekend after the huge ice storm so the place was running on a generator, which actually stopped working for a bit but the owners were on top of it as soon as they heard. They were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again in nicer weather! 🙌🙌

This place was absolutely beautiful the second we walked in. It felt so cozy and homey. I believe it was even nicer in person than in the photos. Personally cleanliness is at the top for me and the place was spotless, and smelled so wonderful. You can tell they thoughtfully chose their cleaning products and body care products - which amplifies the stay making it almost feel spa like along with staying at a cute cottage! Brought along a young daughter, and she adored it here! Dmitry was so responsive too to our questions before hand and gave us so much added information to help us plan for our trip. They even surprised us with a special treat for celebrating my birthday while we were staying there. We hope to rebook many more times!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ken's place. We stayed during a pretty nasty ice storm so it was incredibly helpful that we had the back-up generator. His maintenance guy Bill was great at checking in with us and making sure everything was working as expected.

If you’re looking for a beautiful Airbnb with a hot tub and close proximity to Sandbanks, this is the place to stay! Check-in was super easy, and the home was beautifully decorated and very clean. The location is perfect—just a short drive to many wineries, great restaurants, and Sandbanks Beach. The beds were super comfortable, and there were extra blankets and pillows provided. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was in great working condition and comfortably fit six of us. There’s also an outdoor fire pit that was in great working order—I would have loved to use it, but unfortunately, the rain got in the way! Highly recommend this Airbnb—10 out of 10! It was perfect for our girls' weekend, and we can’t wait to come back next year.

Our group enjoyed a late summer weekend at this beautiful cottage. Everyone loved it! The kitchen is so well equipped with proper pans, utensils, and an array of spices. It was so clean inside and felt very homey. Meagan was super easy to communicate with. Our dog loved the shallow lake entry. Can't wait to be back in the future :)

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. Had a great stay at Eva's place. Eva was very responsive in answering us and also very clear with instructions. The house was kept neat and tidy and location was calm and peaceful. When propane has was out, she was kind enough to get a new one as a replacement. Highly recommend for anyone/family for a weekend getaway. Thanks you Eva for letting us stay at your place.
