Camillus was the best host during our short tour in Sri Lanka. He was the owner of the apartment and always willing to go that extra mile to make our stay memorable- tips on to do things, flexible on check in and out times and any requests never too much for Camillus. The apartment located on a hill with steep incline - we love the walk to Kandy Lake and back as it provided us a great way to burn excess calories from our dining experiences 😊. Turk Turks and Pick Me come straight upto the apartment so if you don’t want the walk, you have an option. We will surely stay at this place again when we visit Sri Lanka and we highly recommend for travellers as Camillus offer 1, 2 or even 3 bed room apartments.

La résidence consiste en l'étage supérieur de la résidence familiale. Les parents habitent en dessous. Ce sont des personnes très agréables et accueillantes, chaleureuses et souriantes. La dame entretien tout un jardin intérieur luxuriant dont nous pouvons bénéficier sans fournir une once du travail qu'il a demandé ! L'appartement est très bien protégé contre les moustiques. Conseils utiles pour s'en prémunir, moustiquaires sur chaque lit et prises à moustiques partout (même pas utiles). Des ventilateurs sont disposés partout et rendent inutile l'idée même d'une climatisation. Aucune inquiétude à avoir car l'air de la montagne est sec. Même les draps sont brodés à la main au point de croix, c'est encore une fois la dame qui est à l'origine de ces merveilles. Questionnez la et vous aurez certainement la chance de découvrir ce qu'elle fait de ses mains.

The apartment was great - spacious and in a quieter area of Kandy which we preferred. Whilst still being walking distance to the lake and temple, etc. Dhanuja was always responsive and helpful. Great value for money.

Very nice place not far from the main road. Appartment was clean, spacious with interesting details. Two rooms with huge beds, big living room with dining table and terrace. Our host was very responsive, waited for our arrival and even woke up very early morning to say goodbye. Outstanding thing i liked the most were ,,jungle sounds'' i enjoyed getting asleep with. I recommend!

Athula is an extraordinary host. The place - run by him and his wife - is beautiful, serene, well maintained, and very well equipped. The garden is a delight. Athula and his wife also went out of their way to offer help when needed. I cannot recommend this property more.

I travelled here in a group of 5 guys. Absolute gem of a place 10min away from Kandy lake. View of the hills from this place is amazing. Will need a private vehicle to commute from here but thats not much of a drawback. Last but not the least the hosts were very sweet and charming(Hiroshans mom and dad) . They made us feel at home and treated us like own family members including providing us breakfast and dinner and also refused to accept any charges. Don’t have to say the food was delicious. This will definitely be my go to place whenever in Kandy.

We were a little worried being the first people to stay here with no reviews but I am pleased to say it was a lovely stay and the apartment is beautiful. Seemed like it’s still a work in progress - the kitchen equipment was limited but 1. we ate out anyway and 2. We only booked a couple of days ahead - I trust they are setting this place up further. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

The host were very warm and welcoming. Every room had the mentioned amenities. We checked-in pretty late, but the host had zero issues with this and didn't bat an eye! Staying here literally felt at home - warm hosts, zero disturbance. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy!

We had an excellent stay here! Everything was spotless, and there was plenty of space. Sathis is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met—he went the extra mile to help us with our tuk-tuk, which we truly appreciated! The location is great—just a 10-minute walk from the lake. It looks farther on the map, but Sathis showed us a convenient shortcut. Thanks for everything!

Lakmal and wife are great friendly hosts. Their house is very clean and has a very natural view of the mountain. I highly recommend his place for anyone who is interested in visiting Kandy.

We loved staying so close to nature! We spend almost two weeks here. It’s situated right on the edge of the Udawatta sanctuary, so monkeys visited us quite a few times which was nice to see! It’s not far from the city but when we went food shopping we took the tuktuk back and it cost us around 200 LKR. So if you want something private, calm but also walkable to the centre, this is it. Just mind that it’s close to the forrest and not much light goes in through the trees. But on the other hand the temperature in the apartment was nice due to the location. There’s no need for AC but there’s a fan if you need it. The kitchen has some amenities like rice cooker and smoothie maker. But it could maybe use a bit more cutlery like a new wooden spoon, but things like pan and pots were really good. The WiFi was perfect, no problem with that.

Loved the stay here, in a stunning and quiet area of Kandy. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the views are incredible.

Felt right at home. Peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. The place is ideal for a couple or a single traveler. Pro tip if you take the train go to Kandy and use Uber or Pickme to the location. The Peradeniya Station is closer but harder to hail a ride. I would definitely come back for a visit.

Die Wohnung ist einfach ein Traum. Sie ist super modern, richtig schick und der Ausblick vom Balkon ist einfach atemberaubend. Kanil ist ein super freundlicher, höflicher und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Wir sind mit dem Bus angereist und er hat uns vom Busbahnhof abgeholt, sowie bei Check-out zum Bahnhof gefahren. Die Wohnung ist etwas außerhalb, aber definitiv den Weg wert. Wenn wir wieder nach Kandy reisen, schauen wir hier bei ihm zuerst nach.

Great location. Very central. Beautiful panoramic view of the Kandy lake opposite the temple. Must be one of the best balconies in town. Quiet, as the apartment is a bit away from the noisy lakefront street. Beautifully furnished apartment. The host is very responsive, kind and flexible. Very much enjoyed our stay. Recommendable. Will definitely book again for my next visit to Kandy.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft, sie ist wunderschön und liegt am Fluss. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Außerdem ist sie sehr groß und sehr gut eingerichtet, es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine und sehr viele Utensilien für die Küche. Der Gastgeber und der Hausmeister sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und immer per Handy oder persönlich zu erreichen. Wir haben Tipps für eine Anreise mit dem Bus und weitere Aktivitäten erhalten. Fußläufig gibt es einen Supermarkt und Restaurant.

Amazing location, exactly what I was looking for!! Could literally see a whole colony of bats from the balcony on a tree sleeping upside down. The apartment has everything you could ask for, nice modular kitchen with a view of the river from the dinning area, spacious rooms with a balcony and attached washrooms. In terms of city access there is a bus from jst down the road which will drop you to the city center, also the walk to the city has its own charm among the bylanes of Kandy(worth going through at least once)

We had a fantastic stay at Harinda’s place. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and has very comfy beds. The view from the balcony is even more impressive in person. The location is absolutely fantastic (central Kandy but high up and far enough away so that it’s also quiet and peaceful). Harinda’s Co host Achala replied to our messages quickly, was very helpful and helped us settle into the apartment when we checked in. I’d definitely recommend Harinda’s place and look forward to staying again next time we’re in Kandy.
