House vacation rentals in Katschberg Pass

Ronja was always available and took care of it quickly. For example, the light in the bathroom was broken, she changed it. A blind didn't let down, again she took care of repair quickly. Upon request, we got a toaster and economy peeler. The hot tub didn't seem to be ready to use yet. The stovetops are sufficient, but the touchpad no longer responds well, also the oven takes a long time to heat up. The house was very nice. The view, fantastic, especially in the evening, as the mountains slowly disappear in the dark, very nice panorama. The garden is also very large and offers a lot of opportunity to move around. Our kids had a lot of fun. He also offered beautiful hiding places for the Easter nests. Ronja was very attentive and prepared 5 Easter nests for our children.

We arrived with six people for a ski vacation. We liked the house very much; on the sunny side of the valley, with many animals on the farm (dog, cats, calves, cows,...), very nice hosts (we even bought a better cheese grater because we wanted to make cheese spaetzle) and a cozy atmosphere (underfloor heating and lots of wood). We'd go back any time! Next time we would probably bring small bedside lamps for extra coziness :) A special highlight was also the sauna. Warm recommendation.

The beautiful house is centrally located in the village of Mauterndorf. The various ski resorts are easy to reach by car. The house is spacious and neatly tidy. The large sliding door allows for plenty of light. The bedrooms are spacious with TV and plenty of closet space. Mattresses are firm and the pillows soft. Hostess Nina is very friendly and helpful, she responds quickly to messages or questions. The house is well insulated in terms of noise and temperature. Parking directly in front of the door on your own property. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the accommodation with 8 people. The house is very nice. Sauna and jacuzzi are very nice to see in the photos. The houses are a bit out of the way. To reach the ski lift and the supermarket you need a car. It was also convenient that you can get buns delivered. An additional 15€ per person will be charged for the bed linen and towels. We couldn't see this from the advertisement. Everything was clean and modern.

Superb housing in a very convenient location, with an incredible view of the mountains. The house was spotless, perfectly prepared when we arrived, and very well maintained. Everything was in line with the description. Communication with Julian was very smooth and efficient; everybody was very helpful. We can only recommend it.

Staying in this house was just amazing. It's actually much nicer than the pictures. The large windows in particular make the stay so special – whether at breakfast overlooking the countryside or in the evening snuggled up on the couch in front of the fireplace. The house is superbly equipped – not only with all the kitchen utensils and machines you need, but also with many practical things such as salt, oil, pepper, dishwasher tabs or washing powder and much more. This makes the stay pleasantly uncomplicated. The communication with Jaap was always warm, quick and very attentive. You can tell that it's really important to him that his guests feel comfortable – thanks for that. A special extra: The pool is currently being completely redone. If you arrive in the summer, you can look forward to a brand new, beautiful pool. Clear recommendation – we will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful Easter with the family in the house.

Kerstin's house is located in a beautiful valley near the Saalach and is surrounded by the most beautiful mountains. It's a 5-minute walk to the river. Children in particular can play there excellently and, for example, build dams out of stones, make stones jump over the water and build stone towers. (stone-balancing) The best ski resorts in the world are in the vicinity. Fieberbrunn with connection to the Saalbach Hinterglemm - Leogang ski resort is about 35 minutes away. Zell am See is also easily accessible. The family ski resort Almenwelt Lofer is only 4 minutes away by car. The house is perfectly equipped and very comfortable. The beautiful tiled stove provides cozy warmth. Overall, nothing is missing. The house is detached and has a large, well-kept garden with several seating options. We were also allowed to use the garage. Kerstin is extremely friendly and always available. Clear 10 out of 10! We'll be happy to come back anytime!

We spent a wonderful 6 days here celebrating Christmas with three generations of the family. The house surpassed our expectations. Every room is spacious, cosy and flooded with light and fabulous views.

It was an amazing place, huge house with plenty of room for everyone. The host was super friendly, response time was really quick and helpful. All the instructions given were clear and easy to follow. Just the location mentioned on the Airbnb website was different than the actual one, so the distance to the slope was a but further. But still close and easy accessible with a car.

The best host of Airbnb that we ever met: warm and friendly. The house is like a castle, it's very peculiar and set in a quiet place; you are literally surrounded by nature and we were lucky enough to see the stars were well at night It doesn't take much by car if you want to visit the Kaerten lakes from there, and cities like Spittal and Lienz. Beautiful and peaceful location. Excellent for serious hiking and good access to Soca valley and amenities. Lovely outdoor seating and eating area. Good opportunities for wildlife spotting. We arrived in the dark and a light was on inside with windows open so the house was full of insects. Not a problem for us but might be for others. Some essentials like toilet roll which was listed was not provided. The oven requires the stove to be lit so not ideal in warm weather. No iron found and no upstairs sockets. However, these were minor deviations from the listing and we loved our stay. Sadly other reviews mentioned swimming in the river but after the dry summer there was no river or swimming accessible by foot. Our email said check out 11:00 but the cleaner arrived just after 10 and we had a call saying it was 10:00. Hopefully that will be sorted for future guests so the information sent matches the expectations of the host. Road up was not as bad as other reviewers suggest.
