Monthly Rentals in Katira

My family and I had an amazing time at the blue house. We were in awe of the beautiful scenery not only on the way to the house but all around the house as well. The river was awesome and the private stairs giving access to the river was amazing. The house had everything we needed and Anisa was extremely helpful and accommodating. We hope to be back one day!

The accommodation is in a very quiet location, ideal for resting a few days away from the city, as was the case for me. The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and the ranch and BBQ area is excellent for spending a night with friends. It is also close to different activities in the area such as Río Celeste. Carol gave us lots of recommendations and was available in case we had any questions.

Loved Casa Hormiga! Cute, quaint, hut was the perfect place to start my time in Costa Rica! So sad I missed out on one night with airline delays. Jose is so friendly and a wonderful host! I opted for a craniosacral massage service and to go see the 500 year old tree up the street. It was a glorious day! He also gave other wonderful recommendations of things to do/see in the area.

Words cannot describe our experience at Rick and Ashley's place, but here is a small sample: beautiful scenery, wildlife, well maintained easily walkable trails, tranquility/peacefulness, and the breathtaking Rio Celeste made this visit one of our all time favorites - in multiple trips to Costa Rica. Thank you for making this a visit we will always remember. 5-Stars all around!
