Simply magical. This season the sunrises from the stampa are simply magnificent. The house is really big and allows you to stay with plenty of space. You have everything you need on site: barbecue, stampa, sauna, basic necessities etc. The house is very warm and gives a cocoon-like feel, especially with the fireplace. This is a place that I highly recommend especially for nature lovers and unusual places. Be careful, however, not to come here if you expect everything to be served to you. We had to start up the stampa, very easy with the instructions. It was a great adventure. Thanks to the owners who were just perfect and quick to respond to any questions we had. This place simply left a mark on us and will stay in our hearts forever. A magical experience worthy of Norway. Ps: the ferry can be found without problem with the svipper app

The airbnb is a great place. It is publicly accessible by a ferry from Hansnes. The views are great for the sea and the mountains. We were lucky to see the northern lights right outside the airbnb! Hilde was very responsive about my queries. She was proactive in letting me know about the weather in advance and also notified us about potential time for seeing the Northern lights. if you're looking tor a cozy Airbnb, publicly accessible and great location, this is it! We are no strangers to Tromso but this was the first time we had stayed at Monica's place. We were very pleased to have chosen to do so though and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The instructions on how to get there were good although we perhaps wouldn't have tried to drive the final 400m to the house at all if we'd appreciated just how tricky that can be even when it's been 'cleared' and the car tyres were studded. Better is just to park in the garage at the top. The guide to the house also covered everything and we enjoyed in particular the sauna and fire (lots of wood provided). The hot tub is a more basic one but we still enjoyed using it a couple of times. The location is great for the Northern Lights with low light pollution and possibility to walk all the way round the house on the veranda. The house is very well equipped and we discovered the local reindeer whilst making good use of the snow shoes. We'd thoroughly recommend Monica and her beautiful house and happily stay again.

This is one of my all time favourite Airbnb stays, the landscape is just stunning, the cabin is amazing. Elisabeth was an excellent host, really helpful, made lots of recommendations. The cabin and the location are stunning.
