Vacation rentals with breakfast in Kansai

Kyoko was a fantastic host, who even met us at the door before arrival to allow us to put our bags in early! She provided lots of local recommendations, had a beautiful space, and even provided us food and other snacks! It is in a great location, 15 min from Nara Park and 5 minutes to Nara Station (if train noises keep you up, be sure to bring earplugs!) and I cannot say enough great things about this stay!

The place feels like home being spacious and has a smell of wood which very comfortable.

On the day, the evening ferry was cancelled due to bad weather, and they called in the morning and drove the luggage to the apartment at the ferry time. (We accidentally missed the ferry to Ogi Island once, and despite the inconvenience, they came to pick us up a second time.I'm really grateful. Check-in was smooth and I was able to relax immediately. The room was private and very spacious, and 6 of us used it, but 2 people were prepared in 3 rooms, and we had a relaxing stay. The ocean spread out in front of me, and even in bad weather (cloudy) it felt very open. Also, the decorated interior and art were very nice, and it felt like we were staying in a villa by the sea overseas. The kitchen was equipped with a commercial stove and a spacious sink, and we were able to use the basic condiments left by previous guests. If you buy food in Takamatsu, I think you can make basic dishes without any problems. Also, there were two bathrooms, one with only a shower and one with a bathtub, It was great to get into the bathtub early.It was a luxurious bath time where the sea breeze came in and the sound of the waves could be felt nearby, even though the outside was not visible to pedestrians. Also, I was told that the sound of the wind and rattling might be louder at night, but I didn't really notice it. At check-out, breakfast was served early so that we could make it in time for the ferry. I was able to get together with friends in a very nice space and enjoy reading in peace.Thank you very much. Lastly, I was surprised to learn that the author of Hotaru no Hikari was drawing a manga here!It's certainly a place that's so charming you'll want to paint it!

The accommodation is a combination of traditional and modern Japanese living and is very unique in many ways. Highly recommended.

Really great place for exploring Kyoto and relaxing afterwards! The host is absolutely fantastic, always ready to assist with whatever issues you might have. The space itself is quite modern as well, with a few details that are quite uncommon but make the place that much better for it. Safe to say it is one of my favourites so far.

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enamored by this place. Kozo and the rest of the team were so welcoming and hospitable— walking us through every detail, providing recommendations, and take the time to learn about our travel needs. They provided more amenities than I have ever experienced at an Airbnb (skincare products, delicious snacks, and more). I could not have dreamed of a more picturesque place to spend my time in Kyoto. The neighborhood is quiet, local, with several good food options nearby and a stunning shrine just minutes walk away. It felt like we had warped back in time. We actually teared up as we closed the door to move onto our next destination.

This is an incredible boutique accommodation with beautiful decor and a generous stock of snacks. It is a rare gem where the space itself is something to be enjoyed rather than just a place to sleep for the night. The staircase to the second floor is quite steep, which may be challenging for guests with large luggage or mobility concerns. One of the highlights is the brand-new system bath, ideal for those who want to enjoy a relaxing ofuro experience in private. Since the building is located right next to the train tracks, you likely will not need an alarm clock. Some rooms include blackout covers, which are helpful for guests who prefer not to wake up with the early sunrise that begins around 4 a.m. in the summer. Overall, 後藤's place exceeded every expectation.

Nice place in a convenient location! The listing was as described and it was easy to check-in as well as communicate with the host.

First of all, you can walk to Takamatsu JR and Port in about ten minutes. The house is conveniently located on the side of a commercial street under a lang bridge. Although the room is not large, but it is a little turnover, you can drop off two or three large suitcases, the facilities are fully equipped, clean and tidy, the host responds to the message in a timely manner, friendly and serious. The most important thing to mention is the coffee shop run by the host's parents in his eighty years old. Before we checked in, the host's father unfortunately stayed in the hospital, but the host's mother insisted on time every day and provided delicious fried egg toast and coffee for guests, her enthusiasm was respectable, when I embraced her and expressed her blessing and deeply felt her passion for life and life!If you go to Takamatsu again, I hope that I will have the opportunity to visit the elderly again, and wish them the same blessing that my mother has experienced misfortune and illness and still strong life are healthy and long-lived!

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

I stayed with my children for two days, and ichie-san warmly entertained us.Help us make travel plans and prepare breakfast, thank you very much.

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and clean airbnb during a trip to Nagoya with my daughter. The early check in allowed us to easily move in after checking out from a nearby hotel. The hosts provided us with an extra bed after a simple request. The large monitor/TV, connected to my laptop using the USB-C and HDMI cables in the apartment, was great! I could do some work while the movable movable partitions created a separate bedroom.

Close to Fukushima station, close to luggage delivery office (open only Saturday /Sunday). Room was clean, bathroom was spotless. Laundry powder, vacuum cleaner, washing machine was provided. Would stay here again.

We spent a night at Shuji and his wife's. We were hosted very well in a lovely house arranged with taste and care. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. We recommend!

The owners are friendly, considerate, hospitable and very comfortable.But the room is a bit cold in winter.

Sakamotoya Muji Room was a great place to stay. Dinner set was very good. The place is beautiful with great view and the bedroom was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Mr Sakamoto was very friendly and helpful and was there to guide us all the time. He also picked us up from the station and brought us to different restaurants. He took extra care of us. Yoshinoyama is a beautiful place. I think we were there slightly off season so the place was peaceful and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. Great for small hikes, visiting temples and enjoying nature. Great stay. We plan to come back during sakura season.

Chris went out of his way to make me feel welcome. If you are an English speaker, it may be that he can answer cultural and other questions about Japan. Chris was kind enough to drop me off at a swordsmith’s workshop nearby where I spent the day.

The first time I came to Japan with friends, this accommodation experience was very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, satisfying our imagination of a Japanese homestay. There were also convenience stores and public bus stops nearby. Life and transportation were very convenient. The host was also very friendly. There was also a delicious breakfast every morning. If I come to Kyoto next time, I will definitely choose this place again without hesitation.

They picked us up on the day of our trip, gave us breakfast, and the room was really clean, and they greeted us every time we went out and came back, so it was a really family-like atmosphere. I would like to use this accommodation again when I come to Nagoya. Above all, the free parking was really nice. I highly recommend it.

Chieri was welcoming and the perfect host. Together with her mother Kauri-san and beautiful WabiSuke, they made us feel at home and gave us a little experience of living within a Japanese Community which is what we were seeking. From inviting us to a local Sushi restaurant to allowing us to share her Tea Ceremony class, Chieri has made our short stay truly memorable.

I haven’t been to an such amazing place in a long time. Kazumasa and Hiroko are one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. The location is breathtaking which invited you to stay more than just a few days. I only stayed 2 nights and wished I had more time. Hiroko gave me some really nice recommendations where I should go and what to do. The breakfast was also super delicious and plenty. Mabulin the dog will welcome you with his playfulness and cheeky character. If I happen to be back in this area I definitely will stay with them again. Thank you
