This cottage was so charming and unique, a great place to stay whilst visiting the island. Walkable to shops, ferry and beach, beautiful location, and we loved the interior courtyard. Thanks!

What a lovely beach house, you feel at home straight away. Kitchen well equipped, large deck for relaxing. Private and peaceful, only a couple minutes walk the beach. If you get up early enough you will be treated to beautiful sunrises whilst sipping your morning coffee. You might even get a visit from a kangaroo or two. A number of choices to stay at KI but we definitely picked the right one!

We had an amazing time. the place is perfect for get aways from city and crowded places.

This is truly an amazing escape - no neighbours, no noise, just a beautiful home in a serene location. The sunsets are PERFECT, wildlife and if you are lucky go to the beach in the morning and watch the dolphins only a few metres from shore. If you want the escape to recharge and relax this is it.

What a gem! This cute Victorian cottage is modern and comfortable inside. We loved the location as Brownlow is close to the Kingscote shops and restaurants yet on a quiet typical inner beach; weedy but great for dog walking. Lovely hosts, Sabine and Kevin. Thanks.

Fantastic views and lots of space to spend out with multi generational family. Accessible beach and pier for fishing - we caught our dinner one night. Fun to watch the 3 resident Koalas in trees across the street and local kangaroos in surrounding yards.

A beautiful home with incredible views. We felt completely at home from the minute we arrived, thanks to Liz’s attention to detail. The home was beautifully presented and furnished, spotlessly clean and extremely well provisioned. We really could not fault it. Dolphins visited daily as we enjoyed happy hour and sunsets from the balcony.

Magical end of the earth location. Brand new home, very well stocked and well set up for cooking and bar-b-que. Loved seeing the wallabies at the food bowl at sunset. Had the special treat of a koala stopping by! Stunning sunrises. Warren is excellent communicator with great recommendations. Looking forward to returning some day!

Alchemy Blue was exactly as we had hoped. Peaceful, immaculate and the most amazing location with beautiful wildlife and views everywhere you looked. Brent was a perfect host who bent over backwards to ensure our stay was as we had hoped. Can’t recommend Alchemy Blue enough. Will definitely book again for next year!!

Eva's place was nice and modern. The selection of amenities was nice and the location is very convenient to walk around the town of Kingscote.

Our stay at Alchemy was absolutely brilliant, from the incredible beach view to the peace and quiet. We were steps from the beach and often had the whole beach panorama to ourselves. Kangaroo Island is breathtaking and offers so much diversity, one of the best holiday destinations in Australia if not the world!

Beautiful and peaceful. We loved walking to the beach. We saw beautiful birds from the window and a wallaby.

The absolutely perfect hideaway, exactly as Hugh, the owner, describes. The house is beautifully presented with everything top quality, but also a lot of personal touches, such as ornaments and books. A great bonus was the sheer number of bird species visiting the water dishes - we identified 21 with the help of an excellent guide book which goes with the house. Good shops and decent pub/restaurant in nearby Penneshaw.

Stayed for seven days and it is a really lovely place with fabulous sea views. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Emu Bay has no shops, so you need to get everything from Kingscote. No restaurants either so if you want to dine out it will have to be somewhere else. We very much enjoyed our stay in this house making daily trips to all the things to see and experience on the island.

Our third stay at Doyle's, and each time it feels like a home away from home. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful bush noises, modern amenities - this place has it all! So much space and plenty for everyone to do! The Starlink internet is SUPERFAST!! Thanks for that upgrade lol Special mention to Craig and Rachael, the wonderful custodians. They always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. This time they wrote a beautiful card for us that really touched our hearts! ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic home away from home in a stunning location. Very peaceful, private, comfy and relaxing. The house had everything we needed and more, than you would expect. Super comfortable beds, we all slept very well. Michelle was great to deal with, every step of the process was a breeze. The drive on beach at Emu Bay is one of the best we have visited, and not too busy despite the hot weather and long weekend there were no crowds and it’s great to set up for the day at the beach a stones throw from the house. Lots of fish were caught by the kids off the jetty while we watched from the house deck directly across the road, we saw penguins, pelicans and wildlife galore, this truly is a remarkable house and location. Highly recommend, we enjoyed our stay so much we’re already planning another. Thanks Michelle for your hospitality it was one of the best holidays we’ve had.

This property is in a fabulous location. The view is beautiful and surroundings very peaceful. We had lovely walks along the beach and swimming everyday. You can relax on the deck and hear the water lapping at the shoreline. Perfect downtime location, but still close enough to Penneshaw and some wineries for an afternoon out. Highly recommend The Deck for a peaceful break away.

Townhouse was as advertised - modern, clean, spacious, hotel grade linen, well appointed kitchen and bathrooms, great view and only a minute or two’s walk to pub/Italian restaurant/large supermarket. Need to be able to manage steps as on multiple levels. Rachel’s assistance was fantastic - friendly, helpful and timely. She mapped out a suggested itinerary for our 4 night stay which was very helpful given our first visit to KI.

The most wonderful home! After 6 months of travel, this was the nicest place to stay and relax. Gorgeous view of emu bay. Within minutes we were driving on the beach. The outdoor shower came in handy! So relaxed and luxurious. Great kitchen including kids cutlery and plates which we much appreciated traveling with a 1yo and 3yo. The host was very helpful in providing a high chair. Also the laundry room was well equipped. All felt new and clean. Very nice outdoor area with good bbq. Watching the sunrise and sunset from this property was a treat.

We enjoyed a peaceful 2 night stay and will happily be back again ! Such a stunning spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of kangaroo Island.
