We had an all-around perfect stay in this charming apartment in the middle of the beautiful Weißenkirchen in the Wachau. The accommodation matched the description exactly – clean, fully equipped (including excellent kitchen). We were particularly enthusiastic about: The wonderful location: Just a few steps from the Danube and surrounded by the typical picturesque vines – ideal for walks, bike rides and wonderful sunsets. The host communication: Very friendly, helpful and quick – whether it was tips on restaurants in Weißenkirchen or tips on check-in – everything went smoothly. A perfect base for exploring the Wachau, its wineries and historic places such as Dürnstein or Melk. We felt so comfortable that we would have liked to extend our stay!

The apartment is in a great location, very large and nicely furnished. We enjoyed it very much. The only drawback was that the curtains in the bedroom do not darken the room.

Perfect for a short stay

Susanna gladly welcomed us and she was very friendly and helpful. The apartman was well-equipped, spacious and perfectly clean. The good location made it easy to reach hiking destinations in a short time by car, and also the lovely old town was a good walk from the apartman, where we enjoyed delicious dinners. We would happily return any time in the future, absolutely recommended! Just like on the pictures.

Everything's great! I'd love to come back

We spent 5 beautiful days in Krems. Matthias made a significant contribution to this. He gave us so many tips and suggestions that we just have to come back again ;o). The apartment is bright, friendly, very clean and quiet. Many details have been thought of in the amenities. We immediately felt very much at home.

A very well located place, next door to some very excellent coffee. The apartment had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well organised and there was an actual freezer and big fridge. The apartment did get quite warm as we were there on two 29 degrees days but everything else was great. Thoughtful and tastefully decorated and the little lounge room was great to chill out in. There’s a market to enjoy on Saturday mornings and you are right near pedestrian mall. A great base for wine visits!

I think it was a very nice house with a very nice garden with nature and trees and also a river. This place was very dreamlike for me. I would like to book it again in the future 😍😇👌

My husband and I spent 9 days in the fantastic apartment of Willibald and his wife. Very bright, spacious apartment. Modern furnished, nice bathroom with large mirror cabinet. Everything is very clean. Beautiful large terrace with views over Krems and the surrounding area. We always ate outside. Krems is easily accessible by foot or by bike. The Gföhrer family is incredibly nice and took care of us wonderfully! 100% recommended!

A very nice place in a former monastery. My accommodation was, except for the few steps at the entrance (which were not tragic) ground level you can reach. Since I rode the Danube bike path, it was very important to me to have my bike safe and not have to leave it on the street. This was super solved, because behind the entrance door, once around the corner to the right, there was already a bicycle stand to lock the bikes. A small plus would be sockets for charging ebikes on the bike stand, but the batteries are also quickly removed and can be charged in the room.

Paul is great Guy, and really helpfull for all thinks. Location is wonderfull, walking distance of central town and grocery. We have done barbeque every day in a lovely garden where birds are singing.

We liked this spacious apartment with good amenities, including in the kitchen. The quiet location was very pleasant for us in contrast to the rather bustling city center of Vienna. In the village there is a bus, the nearest S-Bahn station is about 6 km away (free P+R parking), there the S-Bahn runs every 20 minutes to Vienna, which was a very comfortable connection for us.

Great location, we were 6 adults with the bikes, we could park them in the large garage. Perfect as a starting point for bike tours, many beautiful and cozy wine taverns nearby (within walking distance in a few minutes), Sonja was very friendly, accommodating and helpful, always available, very clean apartment, everything we needed was there, great hot tub in the garden and cozy outdoor area. I would recommend to stay at this property.

We spent a long weekend at Gerti's farm. Lots of peace and space. Very nice area and many opportunities to spend time in nature.

Quiet and cozy apartment with a large bed. Bus stop Dobšice is very close and easily can get to there by bus from the city center. Highly recommended:)
