Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kamloops Lake

Barb has been incredibly responsive all throughout. when I was stuck at the airport due to a mixup with my car rental,she stayed with me over messaging, with some really great alternative suggestions. From the freshly washed blanket on the couch, to all the snack options tailored to my preference, and the views...oh my goodness, just stunning and so peaceful! Barb just really went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed. I was given the perfect balance of privacy with letting me know she was there for any need I had. The home was lovely and uncluttered, cozy living room with the fireplace and a spot to set up my laptop and work in a private area away from the main spaces. I had every amenity I needed to live very comfortably. This was one of the best host and airbnb experiences. Thank you Barb!

We had a wonderful stay at Erin's place! The location was fantastic, close to everything we needed. The space was clean, and well-organized, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Erin clearly puts thought into maintaining a welcoming environment. Would definitely recommend to others and stay here again!

this is not an Airbnb, this place felt like home the moment you step inside. Christopher and Britt did a great job decorating the house making it feel so homey and comfy! great light and view and so much space! we were a family of 4 with a toddler and nothing felt unsafe for my daughter. keep in mind thou there are stairs so if your kid is not used bring a baby gate. I'm top of an awesome home Britt really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. truly amazing hosts! would definitely go back!

10/10 would recommend, will definitely book again next time. Hosts were incredible! The space they provided was absolutely perfect for my Wife, Son and I. The hot tub was a GREAT Bonus for those moments of relaxation after a long day. Pete and Jen, You guys rock! And we definitely look forward to Staying with you again!

awesome stay

5 minute walk slightly uphill to the chair. True ski-in, but not for beginners. Bring earplugs - upstairs footsteps and voices come through loudly, as does the sound of people walking up and down the metal staircase outside. Great ski closet, mud room with multiple boot dryers, and hooks galore. Kitchen is well appointed and easy to cook in. Beds are comfy. Living room is nicely arranged for everyone to hang out. Hot tub is nice but note it faces the commercial parking lot. Hosts are efficient in communicating. This is a great ski house.

Comfortable and cozy. Enjoyed the hot tub. I thought the second bed (lower bunk) was going to be a queen, but is only a double. It was comfortable and had a super warm duvet. We had a little trouble figuring the ski out route even though we are regular skiers at Sun Peaks. It was easy once we got it sorted. The unit was quiet as it faces the inner green space of the complex and not the road. A very enjoyable stay, kitchen well equipped.

Jeremy was an excellent, responsive host! We felt right at home in this cozy spot. It was an easy ski-in, ski-out near Orient and Morrissey chairs, and a short 15 minute walk into the heart of the village. Jeremy's place had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. A perfect spot for our family of four's Spring Break!

Our stay at Drew's cabin was great! The description was accurate and we brought all the gear we needed - sleeping bags, drinking water, etc. Probably could have brought our air mattresses to add some cushioning on the futon, but it wasn't absolutely necessary. Drew was friendly and communicative and brought us firewood for outside the wood stove. The bathroom was clean and had enough running water for washing up and cleaning. We didn't try the shower as it was too cold out. We luckily had no neighbours due to cancellations, so it was perfectly quiet and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the sun. The place is pet friendly and our pup had a great time off leash roaming around. If you are looking for a secluded getaway that is a step up from tenting, this is it. We will definitely be back again!

We had a great time at Dawn's place. The place was super close to the village and the ski-in/ski-out was very convenient. Next time we are back in Sun Peaks we will look to stay here again!

This was the perfect place for a ski weekend! It is ski in/ski out with easy access to the lifts and everything in the village. The condo had everything we needed for a few days. Would definitely stay again!

Sarah’s place is simply perfect! What an ideal location - straight off your skis and into the building. We loved the fact we could look out of the window and see all the skiers. It suited us perfectly and my daughter loved the fact she had a lovely pull down double bed in the living room. Also a treat to have the hot tub at the end of the day.

Beautiful, cozy place. There was lots of room for the 6 of us and our dog. The location was great. It was a quick walk to the lift, but it still felt secluded and quiet. We will definitely come back.
