Kirsten's summer house is an exceptionally beautiful and special place to stay! The lovingly & tastefully furnished house, the wonderful garden with its flowers & its chill outdoor spaces as well as the wonderful location of the accommodation in the beautiful Baumberger holiday park - with a lot of privacy - leave nothing to be desired! Everything your heart desires is available in the accommodation - you arrive and are immediately on vacation! Kirsten is a great & very attentive host, who you can tell is passionate about the matter and does everything to give her guests an unforgettable beautiful, carefree & relaxing stay. The house was just awesome, just like in the photos! The surroundings are beautiful and offer numerous excursion options, also ideal for families with children. At the same time, you will find a lot of rest and relaxation there. Pool, hot tub and sauna were in top condition, as well as the kitchen, which is excellently equipped. There are shops in the immediate vicinity. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

My girls and I just wanted to escape everyday life for a weekend and relax. Laureen's house was perfect for that. We were warmly welcomed and everything was shown and explained to us (whirlpool). The house is cozy and modernly furnished. We felt right at home. The recommended restaurants were also great. So if you just want to unwind, Laureen is the place to be 🙂

The apartment was perfect for us as a group of 7 friends for a relaxing weekend. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and in great condition. It is wonderfully quiet and you are quickly on the canal for nice walks. Martina answered our questions quickly, we highly recommend the apartment!

This was a perfect place to stay for our family with 3 children. The private (massive) garden was exactly what we needed to ensure our kids could still play without having to be too quiet, such as it is in most apartments. There were plenty of toys and a playground as a bonus. The host was wonderful and friendly, always checking on our needs and responding to our requests. One minor issue is that the kitchen doesn't have hot water so you need to get warm water from the bathroom for doing dishes. For staying in the summer, this place is ideal and we'd happily go back!

The four of us had a nice time over the weekend and enjoyed the house. The hosts were very friendly. We will be happy to book again!

We celebrated our wedding in a small group at Thorsten's place. The check in was smooth. Communication with Thorsten was always friendly and accommodating. On request, beer tent sets were also provided to us. The garden was very nice (cherry tree, apple tree, seating areas, barbecue area, etc.) And "the old forge" was very beautiful and well maintained externally and internally. The host was attentive to our questions and any issues that came up were quickly dealt with. The bedrooms were in the attic space, separate from the main level kitchen and living room area. We had pleasant weather and so the temperature in the rooms remained comfortable, but in a heatwave it would be different. The apartment kitchen had the basic equipment. Coffee machine with coffee available. Quiet apartment in a quiet neighborhood with parking on site. Groceries store two minutes walk. Walk to center town would be 20-25 minutes.

We enjoyed our weekend in this beautiful home. Due to the presence of personal belongings, this home feels like "home". Some things are a little outdated and a little less clean, but the openness of the house and the beautiful garden make it all good. Oliver was very easy to reach and our problem with cold water was quickly solved (even on a holiday/Saturday). The region is also very beautiful for walks and bike rides. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. It was a wonderful stay! We really fell in love with this house. It is very cosy and nice, we had everything we needed to relax in the pesceful surrounding of nature. The host was very kind and fast in reponding, ready to help with all requsts. We did't want to leave.

Very uncomplicated host, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was great, very tastefully decorated, with creative solutions for a basement ambience. Anyone who values the opportunity to watch TV should have a suitable account (?) I don't know anything about it. Perfect for tired cyclists!

A wonderful stay! The place was very clean, stylishly furnished and has everything you need. The area is very quiet and everything is within walking distance and quick to reach (shopping, train, etc.). Communication with Barbara was warm, accommodating and she was always available. I travel a lot with AIR BNB privately and for business at home and abroad. This was really the most professional place I've ever rented. Everything available, there remained nothing to be desired. Welcome beers, water, modern coffee maker nespresso, everything where you can expect it. DAZN on TV , state-of-the-art equipment, flame newly renovated. Simply 5/5 stars.
