It was all a dream - this heavenly place leaves nothing to be desired and we felt at home from minute 1. Carsten is an incredibly accommodating, pleasant and friendly host, the house and garden are in fantastic condition in terms of amenities and cleanliness. It was just perfect!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin! It’s beautifully decorated, cozy, and had a really welcoming feel. Check-in was effortless—even though no one was there to greet us, the instructions were clear and everything went smoothly. There’s a great little fish shop just a 10-minute walk away, and we really enjoyed grilling the fresh salmon and cod we bought there. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook some fantastic meals. We were lucky with the weather and caught a stunning sunset over the sea, only a 15-minute walk from the cabin. It was our first time in Denmark, but we’re already planning to come back. Danish people are so friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for a peaceful, relaxing get away!

Very nice house, next to the sea. We've been there in winter and it was very warm and cozy inside. Everything you need is provided. Karolina and Marcin were great hosts. Very friendly and thoughtful.

A dream place, just next to the beach with great view. Very functional and cozy villa, that could host 4 family's with all the amenities. Communication with the host was perfect and we could also check out later, at no extra cost, which saved us some extra stress, especially when you have kids. Highly recommended.

My sisters, my cousin and I stayed in Karens Cottage for our summervacation. It was very easy to check in and out. We liked the house and the garden very much. It is a good place if you need a silent place to relax. And you can reach the beach in 10 minutes of walking. Maybe it is good to know for anyone else that the second sleepingroom is in a different „house“ next to the normal house.

Nicklas was incredibly quick to respond to messages, super friendly, and gave us lots of suggestions for things to see and places to eat. It was a really nice weekend. The house as well as the surroundings were great. We highly recommend this place!

This time there were four of us traveling and we had our animals with us – a dog and a cat. There was enough room for all of us. Check-in went well (mini safe with key). The owner gave recommendations on using the equipment. Kitchen - You can cook - there is everything you need for it. A very warm fireplace, a washing machine – everything was great. A small problem (temporary internet failure) was fixed immediately – the owner called the supplier and everything worked again immediately. Definitely recommend!!!

We travelled with two small kids in august 2024. The place is beautiful inside and outside. Outside, it feels like being in a Forrest, deer is walking around and the view is a sea of trees. It’s a short walk to a good fish monger. It’s a drive or bikes ride into town. Inside, the place have everything which is needed. The kitchen is especially well equipped. Highly Recommend to anyone.

This is the second time I have rented from Pernille, and the house is just in elk perfect walking distance to the most beautiful sandy beach, beautiful forest, nature playground, ice house, etc. At the same time, the house has everything you need and the garden is so big that you don't have to go outside the land register at all. Driving distance to Hundested, Gilleleje, Troldeskoven, etc. My favorite place to go on holiday with a dog, due to the large fenced garden and short walking distance to the most delicious Dog Forest. Pernille is an impeccable host who is always helpful in answering various questions, etc.

We stayed at Mortens place for five days and we felt at home from day one. For those looking for a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle - this area is highly recommended. This house is suitable for people preferring a cozy stay indoor as well as for people who love outdoor activities suck as walking, bird watching etc. My kids particularly enjoyed the zip line and trampoline set outside the house. Morten was very easy to communicate with which made the whole process so easy. Further Orø is a small and beautiful island with some very nice and social people with a great community spirit. Lovely place, especially really lovely garden. Helle was sweet and flexible. Great with bikes so we could bike to the forest and beach. We had some lovely days.

Eva's cabin was a perfect, peaceful weekend away for us. The cabin was very cozy, very clean and an easy walk away from the beach, the forest and the little town. Eva was super friendly and a lovely host.

Had a great weekend at Shaun’s summerhouse. It’s a great place for a quite time away. You get what is described and Shaun has set up everything in the app so it’s easy to find and is also very attentive as a host.

We had a really lovely stay. The cottage is well equipped and has everything you could want.

We had a wonderful stay five couples - and with room for a 6. The house is super charming and cozy. We had great communication throughout and she responded quickly if I had any questions. Definitely something we will do again if the road should fall past Rørvig.

Great communication before and during stays. Easy to find both house and lockbox. Nice summerhouse with everything we needed. As described on the listing page, it didn't include a TV, which we solved easily by bringing a computer screen ourselves. Possibility of walking and/or running to the beach as well as shopping a short drive away. We were happy to be able to celebrate New Year in the summer house in quiet surroundings and with the opportunity to bring our four-legged friend 🐶

Grandios! We had a wonderful turn of the year at Tove and Erik's log cabin, they were really perfect days. We were able to walk along the picturesque coast, enjoy nature, jump into the winter sea and warm up by the fire afterwards. The house is very, very cozy and super equipped. The fire kept us warm in January. Erik was always available, flexible and friendly, communication with him was absolutely straightforward. We can fully recommend the log cabin - a gem! - and would definitely like to come back soon. Thank you for everything, dear Tove, dear Erik! Maria & Rune

The house was very cozy and you'll imediately feel like home. The pictures aren't doing the place enough justice. Garden is nice as well. Lots of neat corners to sit and soak in the sun. Communication was fast and easy. Plenty of tips for stuff to do, if you aren't shure how to spent your time. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a basecamp for you vacation on Sjælland.
