Her advice is excellent for discovering the local culture, it's very easy to communicate and she has a real sense of hospitality. The very well renovated house is located in an agricultural area, the completely enclosed exterior is beautifully vegetated and very well laid out so that you can enjoy it at all times of the day. Lots of points of interest within 20-min drive. Highly recommended!

A blissful beautiful place in the sweet village of Lefkogia. The Virginia creeper covered terrace has amazing views of the mountains and the chickens and ducks down the road which kept my 18 month old happy! There is a mini terrace perfect for a quiet coffee or glass of wine and then the pool garden which is just beautiful, such a sun trap where you can watch eagles and vultures over the mountains and listen to the reeds in the wind. The house is huge, much more spacious than we expected, and very well equipped, we cooked most lunch times and evenings. Betty was a great host, quick to respond to any request and easy to contact. The village has a funky coffee shop, great Taverna, cafe and a well stocked supermarket and a little playground. There are stunning beaches a short drive away. In short a perfect holiday villa…we could have stayed a month and hope to return!

Very nice house and furnished in a functional way. Panoramic location with beautiful views. It is necessary to have a car available for travel. The covered terrace where you can eat is very comfortable. Excellent welcome from Stavros, he also made us find upon our arrival some very good Cretan specialties that we ate the first night at dinner. I recommend the house to those looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle

We had the pleasure of spending our vacation in this cozy accommodation in a charming, quiet village in Crete. The location in the mountains offers a peaceful atmosphere that was good for our relaxation, away from tourism. The place itself was extremely practical and well-equipped. The cozy decor made us feel comfortable. The tranquility of the surroundings was simply heavenly – ideal for escaping the stress of everyday life. To explore the surroundings and the many beautiful sights, a car is important. So you can fully enjoy the authentic Cretan culture and breathtaking nature. Overall, I highly recommend this place! A perfect place for those looking for tranquility and coziness in a natural and mountainous environment. Thank you very much for the hospitality and great communication!

A clean and tidy place to stay. Christos was very responsive and gave great tips for the visit. It's a bit of a challenging location, but the car is fine.

We had a wonderful stay at the earthouse! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The location was great, and we truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and always available to answer any questions, which made our experience even better. The Villa was perfect and exactly as described. So peaceful with amazing views. Argiri always responded quickly to any questions but at the Villa the whole family were so kind and generous with gifts of food and homemade olive oil and wine and excellent local knowledge from Valantis which was super helpful. We would definitely recommend the place and will hopefully visit again in the future.

Would definitely recommend staying at Asmani as it was exactly as the advertised. Spotless and modern but keeping with the traditional architecture of the area.

very quiet place, perfect for a city escape, very modern and lobely decorated

The apartment was very cosy, ideal for 2 persons. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was very comfortable and the mattrace was ideal for good night sleep :) Within the apartment was a spacious terrace with the sun chairs, dining area and functional jacuzzi we used in evenings when the air temperature dropped and the sun went down. The apartment was about 100 metres from the beautiful sandy beach which was a great benefit. The overall evaluation of this place is very positive and I reccommend this place for couples or singles.

We stayed in a really well furnished home, with all possible comforts available. The host is really nice and welcoming. The only thing is the neighborhood, quiet but a little shabby. However the house is amazing, we couldn't ask for better

The Villa was in a private and peaceful location with great local Tavernas (a short drive away). It was clean and tidy and with a great pool area. The Welcome Pack we received was greatly appreciated and equally a parting gift too. Local mini mart (not the one by the local Taverna) had everything you would need. We would recommend the Villa to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday. A car is a must to explore.

Nikos' place is incredible. It totally transports you to another time and lets you absorb the beauty of the Cretan landscape and nature. We noticed something new every day. Having the pool with stunning views of the mountains and sea, a well-equipped kitchen and an olive tree shaded seating area to eat in, meant we rarely had to leave the place! Great house, had everything, even a ping-pong table fully equipped Delightful pool Extremely quiet neighborhood with very nice surroundings and very close to mini markets and taverns At the same time, it is an ideal spot for someone to get to know all the beauties of Rethymno in all directions I would really like to vacation every year in similar homes and such beautiful areas

We enjoyed the stay very much and everything was wonderful! The pool was clean and nice and cool! Requests were responded to immediately and you are only 20 minutes away from the most amazing beaches! Since the accommodation is remote but close to a busy road, you should take Oropax with you if you want to sleep without air conditioning ( which all work perfectly) and may be sensitive to noise. All in all it was a wonderful house with everything you need! Many thanks for everything :)

A wonderful place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway! the hosts were super friendly and responsive, they provided more than expected with regards to amenities and our stay even more effortless!

We had such a lovely stay at Manolis’ house. Our family of 7 (incliding a 2 & 5 year old & my 75 yo mom) all loved our visit. Manolis met us and gave us such a warm welcome with so many local tips and recommendations. It was even more beautiful then the photos and full od beautiful family heirlooms. The village of Amari is beautiful and peaceful and the villa is perfectly located in the middle of the village right next to the taverna. The views are amazing, the pool an numerous patios are gorgeous with stunning views and it is so peaceful and private. There were so many lovely complementary foods from the local vendors on arrival which made us feel right at home. Rumy cooked us the most amazing meals we had in the region that were so incredibly delicious! Do not miss her meals! She modified multiple dishes for our dietary restrictions. She is truly a masterful chef and such a wonderfully warm person. Our kids loved the home, pool, outdoor cats & Rumy! Everyone was so kid friendly!

Lovely villa that completely exceeded our expectations. We stayed here with 2 families (4 adults and 4 children). We were met by a super enthusiastic host who explained everything clearly and welcomed us with some typical Greek local products. The house is equipped with all comforts. Large bedrooms with their own bathrooms and hammam. Spacious kitchen equipped with all the necessary kitchen appliances (including prof. coffee machine) The icing on the cake was the lovely outdoor area with (heated) pool, sitting area, dining area, bbq and views of the Agia Galini bay and surroundings. We stayed here at the beginning of spring and we were very happy with our decision to opt for a house where the pool was heated. From this location we made a trip to Matala and the palm beach of Preveli. We might have been able to do more, but didn't get the kids out of the pool😁. For anyone who is still in doubt: don't, just book!
