Vacation rentals with a pool in Kalamaki Beach

We came 5 people - my husband and I, with our 2 children and my mother-in-law. First of all, a few days before we arrived Elena (an amazing woman with a perfect english) contacted me and made sure she has all the details so she can prepare a perfect stay for us. The house was super clean and equipped, and the outside was the best! We spent hours in the pool enjoying the amazing nature around us. Elena and her husband Yiorgos are wonderful people - they were very kind, caring and responsive. We wish we could come again next summer 🙏🏻

A week spent in this really nice little house. The view is just beautiful!!! The setting is incredibly quiet and relaxing. A real treat. Also a very nice little touch was waiting for us when we arrived, a homemade cake. The house was impeccable! The pool is very clean and cleaned regularly. The owners are very friendly and responsive, respectful of our well-being. We are really delighted with this week spent in this beautiful house. Beautiful villa in a wonderful setting, the outside space is really spectacular. Everything you could need is available at the villa. We were staying with a 10m old and there were loads of baby items which made our trip so much easier. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating and helped us with recommendations when we asked. Would highly recommend this villa. It’s also within easy driving distance to lovely places on the island.

We were a party of five, my wife and I and 3 30 year olds, our two twins and a son-in-law. We all couldn't say enough good things about this home: the view has to be one of the best on the whole island, relaxing, extremely private and immediately felt right at home. Starting and ending each day with that view, I didn't need anything else, but there is as much to do as you want. For example, just 6 minutes down the hill, you have the great little town of Platka with a few delicious local restaurants, market and a nice sports bar if you want a cocktail...like me. Another 10 minutes down the hill you come to Alymrida, the small coastal city that has nearly a dozen varied restaurants right on the water. 40 minutes away is the charming city of Chania, the jewel of Crete. This home is centrally located, 20+ minutes from the highway to go anywhere you wish to go...but keep in mind your leaving this view behind. I hope you enjoy it half as much as we did.

Fabulous house and location. Clean and stylish with very comfortable beds. Very handy for the beach and town and very close to the supermarket. An exceptionally beautiful part of Crete.

We had a wonderful week at Lina’s villa. It really is a beautiful place with a fantastic view. Close to some fabulous beaches and countryside. Lina was super helpful and friendly and really responsive. The pool was gorgeous. Bedrooms really comfortable. It is about 3km from the village and the road does turn and wind but we got used to it pretty fast and it is not so narrow and mostly lit at night. It is semi detached and the other villa had visitors but they were pretty quiet and we did not feel disturbed. Very glad we chose it

An outstanding location in a beautiful development. A beach with crystal clear waters, and a beautiful pool. This is a perfect home for either two small families, or a larger family with "in-law" space. The balcony views are spectacular.

The villa stefania is perfect place to relax and visit the Rethymnon area. The appartment is very nice and clean. The swiming pull is beautiful. The breakfist is just PERFECT and different every morning. Thank you for your kindness 😊

Besides the beautiful condo, Stamatis was a wonderful host who left no request unanswered. He went above and beyond with help for taxi’s, restaurants reservations, local parade information, shopping and car rentals. If you are looking for a great experience on Crete you cannot pass up Stamatis and his hospitality.

Lovely staff. Perfect spot. Peaceful place to chill by the pool and a super short walk to all the things you could want. Buses. Land train. Restaurants. Large and small supermarkets. The incredibly beautiful beaches.

Great property! We had a great vacation and we are so grateful to the owner (Irene) about everything. The house is located in a small village, very nice neighborhood. Only once there was some kind of celebration in school across the steer. In the other times it was very calm and quiet. The owner has a manager who’s taking care of the property, he is very nice :) so... thank you!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Alexandros apartment . The garden is amazing & the host is professional & friendly . Alexandros was very helpful with everything we asked . The swimming pool is big & the garden furniture is very cozy . The appartement itself is very functional & only 10/15 mins drive from the old city . We highly recommend it .

Accommodation according to the photo, sea view and quiet lulled by the song of the cicadas and the herds of sheep in the small day. 5mn drive to the triopetra beaches, sunbed and umbrellas if you have snacks at the tavern. remember to do your shopping before arriving here..no shops on site. No closer to Spili.Vent powerful when it starts to blow, choose the more sheltered beach the other side of the hill. The 2 nearby beaches are beautiful. We had a wonderful 4 days... Recommended

We spent a wonderful time at Alexandros place. Alexandros is a very attentive host with great recommendations for the area. The apartment is clean, well-equipped and located in a nice spot in Plakias with easy parking access. We recommend this place, thank you Alexandros!

Blue Key Villa is outstanding. Situated high above the coastline it has spectacular views from almost anywhere in the Villa. Manos and his team are excellent and are able to provide recommendations and services for use in Villa. We used their recommended chef, Spyros, one evening, and it was brilliant. Communication is clear, and responses received promptly. Blue Key is an exceptional property.

Great week spent just relaxing and had everything we needed. Pool was a great relief to the heat and visiting the local supermarket meant we cooked several times int he bbq and had breakfast looking over the views. Communication was great through out with some good recommendations. Loved that we had a mid week set of new towels / sheets and rubbish removed. It was just what we wanted - relaxed in a lovely location close to amenities . Thank you x

We spent just under a week in the villa with the relatives. The villa is ideal for several parties and family members as that house and the property are very spacious. It's all very well distributed. Thanks to the cooking island/counter in the kitchen, you can also sit nicely together. The highlight is of course the pool with the beautiful view of the sea. The sunset was breathtaking every night. If something was missing, you could reach the owner very quickly and she also responded promptly. If we want to vacation with a large group again, we would book the villa again. Here and there there are signs of wear and tear, but all in all a great value for money. We had a great time!

Charming place! Aristeidis and his wife Marina are very polite, attentive and hospitality people! During all our rest they were ready to answer any our questions and give advice and help! The villa is very beautiful and comfortable! It is well equipped with different devices! From the second there is charming view all around! The private swimming pool was very clean and gave us possibility to enjoy private rest! The size of the pool is enough even for the big company! Sakalani is very cosy village with beautiful delicious taverns! There are many different olive and grape farms near the village! The villa is situated only 10 minutes from Heraclion! Definitely I and my family are very thankful to Aristeidis for our wonderful rest and time that we spent on his Vila! I strongly recommend this place for the vacations on Crete!

The best villa there is. Host were very very accommodating and kind, once of the best people you’ll meet. They gave us a welcoming meal and it was delicious beyond words. We will definitely highly recommend and come back in the future. Thank you again for the great stay. ❤️

We had such a lovely stay at Manolis’ house. Our family of 7 (incliding a 2 & 5 year old & my 75 yo mom) all loved our visit. Manolis met us and gave us such a warm welcome with so many local tips and recommendations. It was even more beautiful then the photos and full od beautiful family heirlooms. The village of Amari is beautiful and peaceful and the villa is perfectly located in the middle of the village right next to the taverna. The views are amazing, the pool an numerous patios are gorgeous with stunning views and it is so peaceful and private. There were so many lovely complementary foods from the local vendors on arrival which made us feel right at home. Rumy cooked us the most amazing meals we had in the region that were so incredibly delicious! Do not miss her meals! She modified multiple dishes for our dietary restrictions. She is truly a masterful chef and such a wonderfully warm person. Our kids loved the home, pool, outdoor cats & Rumy! Everyone was so kid friendly!

Manolis is a super host, always available to provide directions to better places to visit on his beloved island, also because they are so many and all beautiful. The Calergi residence is a quiet and well-kept place, the rooms are all air-conditioned, the pool although small still gives you the opportunity to cool off both when you return from the beach and if you want to stay in the room one day. Close to the center of a characteristic village and starting point for every trip you will want to do on the island. Thanks Manolis and see you soon.

Maria was a lovely host and made a special effort by getting me a cake as we stayed at Asterios Villa during my birthday. There was also lovely touches of fresh fruit, wine, raki and local toiletries left for us. The villa itself is perfect and the location of Bali is brilliant for shops and restaurants. The pool and outdoor area was lovely and well maintained. Had good WiFi and aircon. The villa was well stocked with amenities for the dishwasher, washing machine and toilet roll as well. Had a beautiful view of the sea and hills. Anyone who stays here will not be disappointed. Thank you Maria
